When every game has atleast 4 necro theres a problem

I thought it was 10, didnt know 3v3 was out already :)

but in all seriousness at plat 1 I usually see 2-4 necros, about 1-2 guards, 1-2 rangers, 1-2 engis. 1-2 elementalists.

the rest is made of dying breed of mesmers, thiefs that cant play rev, revs that used to play thief and that 1 stubborn warrior in the back of the room

in my opinion the big problem of nec is that its major design flaws (really bad weaponskills, no active defenses/stability, ...) are being overcompesatet by shroud and ridiculus OP traits like Relentless Persuit, Ritual of Life, ...

 

that makes necro very strong in certain situations while being absolut trash otherwise. ppl especially in lower tiers tend to overlook this and only see the bright sides bc nobody there knows how to exploit the weaknesses. in highter tiers ppl know how to exploit them so necro is being babysat or on respawn. has been like that for years now.

 

me as a necro main rather have the designflaws fixed than any more OP traits but those are really the thing that keeps it alive
