Characters having player's musical or artistic accent

I have long wanted a toon that had his own theme song when entering a room. Alternatively, my creative thirst could be quenched if I had some sort of artistic tag (a la Paintbrush) that I could call my own, embossed on my character. I know this would be a programming challenge but I think the rewards would be immen$e.

How do you make sure players don't abuse this to inflict NSFW stuff on others? Even if programming it were a snap and ANet could easily crank it out in 10 minutes work, they probably would still refuse. Same way we can't design our own avatars on the forum, ANet doesn't have the resources to check everywhere for violations of the rules.

 

I'm not sure what you mean by theme song. Something everyone else has to hear? What's a "room" in this context? If several people "enter a room" together, do all their themes play together in cacophony? If only you can hear it, why not just have it on your phone nearby so you can press a button to hear your special music?

 

If you want your own artistic tag as it were, maybe make a personal guild, pick the symbol and colors you like most from the options, and use that. Or find out how to be a creative partner, since ANet on rare occasions releases new guild symbols designed by the partners. If they use yours, voila, you can use it on any gear that shows a guild symbol. Of course, so can anyone else in the game who selects that as their guild symbol, but likely they won't have the same colors as you.
