Anet is consistantly inconsistent. That might be why they keep saying they laying the ground work, because keep changing priorities. Reading their glass door page sorta illiterates that, constant building scrapping and rebuilding. That why the list of abandoned content types is so long.

Remember when Collin said that the first year had a ton of festivals in the living world, it was because they were suppose to be repeatable seasonal content. Did they follow that plan, nope. Dragon bash dissapeared for 5 years, festival of the 4 winds disappeared for 4 years. Sab disappeared for 2 years. We it took 5 years for anet to stick to the seasonal festival plan, which should have been the case at the start of the games life cycle.
