Personally I would like for them to just remove the stickied thread. Let my hope for the legendary armory die like my hope for alliances.

This is why people think anet has mismanaged the game so much, instead of continuing to support the system they already have, they spend all their time reinventing the wheel. So far we have had 4 different iterations of 5 man instanced content, story dungeon (molten facity, aetherblade, and scarlets funhouse), the core dungeons, fractals and now drms. We have had two iterations of 10 man content, raids and strikes. The you have all the abandoned content, like guild missions and guildhalls. But of course everytime a new system is released, it takes them 6 month to get them to same polished state as the previous system. You still can not join a drm midway through like all other instanced content. I want no new endgame system, I want new content on the existing systems. Hell i would be more excited about EoD having a new dungeon and guild missions with the ability upgrade a guildhall to lvl 80 than another new system. At least then i would know management at least has learned to stop "bulding a framework" and start using the frameworks they already have made.

I think the new game experience update was one of the worst updates in the games history. Personally I wish they would revert to the classic leveling system and personal story sequence. The level up rewards just fills your inventory with equipment that can not be sold or forged. The personal story was butchered. You know it was crap because anet added the tutorial achievements last year to try to teach the players the basics of the game. If you ever watched egoraptors megaman x tutorial breakdown, you noticed that the new game experience is just a bunch of popups that fills your inventory with junk, that people click through and learn nothing. The classic leveling lead to organic learning.

Compare hot maps vs pof maps a year after launch. No matter what the vocal minority on this forum and in game journalism say, people want challenging content. Abandoning this content has been a mistake.

Again context. If you are talking about HoT maps, those map are supposed to be hard. The director at the time advertised them as the natural progression of challenge from ls1. Ls1 and ls 2 were getting progressively more difficult, anet was actively trying to train players to be better. Even ls3 anet tried to keep some difficult content. Compare the son of svanir in bitterfrost and bjora, they are same mobs, but the bjora do about a quarter of the damage. Now if you talking about PoF or ls4 or IBS, then you probably need to play the core game some more to get better at your class. Get used to telegraphs and learn what your skills do. I can not think of a mob group that can keep you constantly cc in the core game or pof.

Mc are expensive because people horde them and use them as currency on the black market. To be honest, probably the best thing anet did about this problem is try to increase the drop rate of the ultra expensive items to allow them to appear on the tp. This allow them to be traded for gold. If i wanted to buy a chak off the black market, i would probably have to spend 22 stacks of MC, because gold would not be accepted because of the gold cap. If people could easy buy these items from the tp, gold would have more demand than mc and the price would go down as people sold off their mc to get gold.

Steam release is in the same place as the legendary armory and alliances, Vaporware. It would not surprise me if the announcement was just a smoke screen to make advertisement page on the platform. Again this is from a company that over the years has eroded the trust that they can deliver a product. The ball is 100% in anets court, to regain my trust, all it would take is meaningful updates to all of these announcements that never had follow through. Even if they are cancelled, i would be good enough with that.

I curious if this is the same "baron of the arena" necromancer i am running into on na. I do not know what annoys me more, the fact that the hackers teammates will not follow wooden potatoes lead, and refuse to play or that anet still has done nothing when it is blatant teleporting.

Look at the massive grinds they are adding into the current releases. It will take 4 months to finish grinding out the t2 dragonslayer weapons. The volcanic weapons have massively low drop rate. Now remember these is still ANOTHER tier of dragonslayer weapons and I predict the next update will add glacial stormcaller weapons at another massively low drop rate. These are tactic to try to keep the players busy long enough to buy them enough time to get enough of the expac presentable. I predict that we still have another 6 month content drought after Aprils final IBS drop, and I can also see the expac not coming out until Q1 2022.

You can only buy 1 ever. If you want more than one you need to get lucky with rng box.

You are assuming there are fractal devs or devs who care about balance. Both 2019 and 2020 only had 1 fractal each, the last balance patch was over 6 month ago in July. Fractals at this point are just side projects, pve balance is nonexistent. Read the writing on the wall.

There is only 2 items in the games that requires Funerary Incense, Vision and Coalescence. All gen2 legendary weapons can be gotten using the HoT path using crystalline ingots. This is a non issue. Also can we stop this trend of "I personally hate X, so it should be changed for the Steam players" excuses.

As a AP hunter, doing one rep of this was the most frustrating grind in the entire game. Not only does this lock you into the game for at least an hour, but you'll end up with byes that give no progress AND the other team will forfeit (not ready up) also resulting with no progression. I've had ATs where i lost the first match, got a bye, then have the other team not ready up and tournament has ended with the 4-6th place reward chest. I understand the byes should not progress the achievement, but the forfeitures?

Spend all my defence marks on 200 deldrimor loot boxes, only 1 volcanic chest. Really low drop rate.

Good addition to the game. The black market removed 0 hold from the game. Now everytime one of these infusions are sold 2k gold is removed from the economy. When gold is removed, the price everything goes down.
