BL keys are one of the least valuable items that you can get with gems. Sometimes they feel like a scam. I wouldn't recommand anyone to waste his time or money on them.

Dude...25 BL Chest Keys are 2100 gems or $26.25 USD. Even if you're at a minimum wage job, that's like 4 hours of work. You could probably ask both your neighbours if you could cut their grass, and they would probably be happy to pay you $15.00 each.

so the rent, taxes, weekly shoppings, monthly bills, etc. are all not important then?

It's called being responsible with one's money and budgeting for expenses. Most people can manage that.

and not all are able to pay 25 bucks on a game on a whim, it's called knowing your budget.

That's true, too. Keys, though, don't cost $25.

The person I'm quoting describes spending "under 3 days" to grind out 30 keys per week in a video game, which suggests a person has that amount of time available to spend in GW2.

 

If you're working and can't afford to pay $26.25 USD out of pocket, maybe spend those "under 3 days" of time and work more hours, get a better job, whatever, and improve your real life situation at the same time.

 

I totally understand financial pressures, etc. I had to work my way up to where I am today. But when I was young, married and starting a family, things were tight, and we had to make do without...but I certainly didn't have "under 3 days" worth of time to kitten around grinding for keys to get virtual loot in a virtual place, right?

with what's happening in the real world right now, unless you are financially prepared to weather the storm already, it's probably better taking a break from any sort of gaming

it's easy to talk about getting a better job when you have a choice, i don't.
