Hitman.5829 Posted October 23, 2017 Share Posted October 23, 2017 [Corrupt boon](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Corrupt_Boon) is a bit too strong for a 15 second cooldown. When balancing skills like this you have to take in consideration how often resistance is applied by other skills and their respective cooldowns. Most skills that apply resistance have very long cooldown times. To balance [corrupt boon](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Corrupt_Boon) I suggest you make it a 30 second cooldown OR reduce the boons corrupted from 3 to 1 and keep the 15 second cooldown and remove the self poison (or if necros like to be self poison to transferred the condition keep it). Before the patch Jan 26/16 this skill was on a 40 second cooldown. Going from 40 sec to 15 sec is way too much! Someone in the balancing department messed up big time. Because most people on this forum understand the undertone of 90% of the topics you start. Every other class> Warrior. Considering you mention it removing resistance and guess which class has incredibly high access to it...I don't think im wrong about this one either. I've never found any use for this other than targeting a commander. If anything, maybe double the cool down and have it affect 5 players instead of 1. If this is such a big problem then why did you wait over 20 months after that patch before you started to see problems with this skill? Stop trying to disguise your threads man. What is this really about? Because warrior already has tons of access to resistance, no need to nerf one of the only counters that condi classes have.
