Black Lion Chest Merchant, Time on Exclusive skins when in stock! Time has been Wasted.

Hello guys. I have not been playing GW2 for very long but have come to really enjoy the game and the community that I have come to know through playing. However its little things like what I am about to explain that really upset me and make me question how I am investing my time. A while back I noticed that the Zodiac skins were being sold at the Black Lion Chest Merchant for 30 Statuettes. I have wanted the Zodiac Light skin for some time so immediately I started to farm for and save my Black Lion Statuettes. Today I found out that the skin I wanted was no longer being sold at the Black Lion Chest Merchant. After no indication on time before disappearing, no timer underneath the item nothing it just disappears. However, that is not what is first and foremost upsetting to me. What is really upsetting to me is the hours and hours that I have wasted farming gold and also Levelling characters to level 40 Just so I could stock up on Black Lion Keys to get more Statuettes as well as the fact that I do not know nor will ever know when the item I wanted will come back if ever! In my opinion some sort of consideration needs to be made here.

The offerings from the Black Lion Statuette vendor are usually updated in the Patch Notes. (Thus, if a Release is forthcoming, expect the offerings may change.)

The Wiki (link above) often shows dates of when items have been offered from sources.

 

Unlikely, any 'consideration' will be offered, but you are welcome to try your luck with the CS Team (Support link above/below).

Yea when game update and gemstore change so do the statuette merchant, last change was the 19th of January.

 

You seem to be in luck, unlike other things this seem to come around 1-2 times a year. ( except 2015)

And, except 2020. It's been over a year since it was offered in the Gem Store, so it may turn up soon...or not.

No one can tell when it might be offered for BL Statuettes, again.

If you wish to purchase it with BL Statuettes, make sure to always have 60 on hand.

You haven't wasted the time, things go in and out of the statuette shop all the time. Contents usually change when the Black Lion chest contents change. Just make sure to keep checking what's in stock, I am sure it will be back eventually!
