Positive Things About Mirage?

Well, to be fair much as I enjoy playing the spec, I can't say **too** many good things about it, every single other elite spec I tried felt better designed, independent of whether they were weaker or stronger or how many mechanical problems they had themselves.

 

That being said...

 

* Damn axe is such a pretty weapon even without Astralaria. Especially with the trait, with those extra axes circling everywhere.

* Scepter can go Sword #2 swish swish swish with the ambush. Yiss!

* Jaunt is super weak but being instant cast is my replacement for not being able to move with a dodge, and I kinda like it that way. Having the two mechanics separate is pretty cool, no matter whether it ends up eating my elite slot or not.

* "Mirror, mirror, from the sand!" (love the voiceovers)

 

Don't get me wrong, I think Mirage should ideally be scrapped completely, that's how design-broken the spec is. Nothing fits anything. But despite all that, the graphical splendor makes it fun to play in open world PvE. I'm happy, for serious content I'd rather play other games anyhow (like MOBAs for PvP and WoW for raiding).
