advice with a meta

I am trying to get this....https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Buccaneer_Coat yet...I need the conquest marina waypoint to unlock (be in allied control) so I can buy it from the karma vendor there...yet I can never get the darn missions to spawn so I can do it.

 

Any advice?

Cant you just do the spvp reward tracks for legacy armor and get it from the box?

Are you going after the skin or the coat itself? Cause if you are after the skin, you can get it from Fireheart Rise at the Highland's Thaw. Be easier than dealing with the Orr map(s).

as for the actual meta you're asking: Its the "central invasion of Orr" meta-strain thats located in Straits of Devastation and begins in Fort Trinity's harbor.

If you just want the skin you can get it from several other places which might be easier.

 

Easiest is probably a heart vendor in Fireheart Rise: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Enduring_Protector

 

There's also a merchant in WvW who sells it for for 60 badges of honour. You do not need to play any WvW to get there - the guy you need is inside your home base on all the WvW maps and if you've got 500 or more achievement points you'll have at least 100 badges of honour (unless you've spent some). If you need more there are several WvW daily achievements which awards badges and can be done solo without fighting other players.

If you specifically want the version from Conquest Marina then I recommend using LFG to look for maps where people are trying to unlock the Temple of Balthazar (or where it's already unlocked) as the event chain you need is part of that. Or head to Fort Trinity and look out for the start of it. When it starts make sure you tell people in map chat it's starting and maybe let them know you need the Conquest Marina section completed, people are often willing to help with events if they know you need it.

As miraude.2107 and nottsgman.8206 have said, there are other ways of unlocking the skin. It goes by different names but Pagga's Coat is the closest to the one you mentioned (Pagga's is level 75 the Conquest one is level 74).
