Considering even sPvP players are so risk adverse, they'd quit a match and willing accept the dishonored penalty in the first 1 minute it if doesn't look like a steam roll win. EotM is the only WvW map with no alternate routes to an objective, and has relatively few cheese spots for siege. If zergs can avoid fights in a map made to force it, its not the map thats causing that.

Eotm is the only "wvw" map that was exclusively used to pve.

I would call that straight false. For a long time low tier servers were major K-trains. Just 2 or 3 zergs going around capping undefended structures from each other, and only fighting to maintain spawn points at their main keeps. The exact same thing EotM is accused of today.

I remember times when EotM wasn't like that. On the main time in later afternoon and evening map reset, there were people pouring from the spawns. Map was usually full in one minute or sooner. Squads were full and people didn't care about K-trait at all. Only fighting. The routes on EotM maps are more straightforward and there is less room for avoiding enemies. That means, the battles were quite intense and fun. Much more than most of the fights in classic WvW. But all of this was before the pips came...
