Revenants in wvw

It's been a year since the PoF exit. You have not yet noticed that the Renegade needs a remake to not be useless in WVW?

Do you have any intention of doing something about it, or do you not consider it necessary?

hammer herald is the best DD in wvw zergs, and also support his teammates with massive boonspam on glint. hammer 2 and 3 are massive nukes every few seconds. so there is absolutely a place in wvw for rev. also in roaming herald is in a very good spot.

 

what ive heard is renegade more a pve class with good dps. you should switch your spec pretending to your gamemode.

Not every class needs to be good in every game mode.

 

Renegade is a bit above Herald in PvE, Herald is viable in all gamemodes. I think that's fair.

I also think Renegade was mostly designed for PvE & raids, and the Herald designed with a better focus on large numbers support via utility/buffs for WvW/PvE.

One day I hope they will be better for this mode, both for zerging and roaming. It is semi ok in zergs, but it's bend-over-and-accept-death for roaming lol.

The legend itself and the bow are non starters for wvw but the trait line and the f2 skills are viable alternatives to Herald.

I don't know if you've run up against revs playing other toons in wvw, but they hit like a truck. They're in a good place right now in terms of balance.
