A whole heckload of QOL requests

Recommended Posts

I would appreciate many of those on that list.

However, you may want to instead include the link/message in your OP in the **sticky "[**[suggestions]QoL (Quality of Life) Ideas**](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/53097/suggestions-qol-quality-of-life-ideas "[suggestions]QoL (Quality of Life) Ideas")" thread**, which exists exactly for such ideas to be consolidated into one location to allow for the appropriate devs to have a single place to visit to review the many QoL features requested by the community.

Why would they let you stack gathering tools or make them auto equip new ones?

When they sell the unlimited in store just pony up and buy 3 of em with 3 shared slots.

If you have normal tools on all characters, all you got to do is dubble click on login and then dubble click on log out and you have it on all your toons.

If you ecto gamble from skritt or in the casino 100 times you get a portable vendor you can use anywere solving the trash junk problem for you, if you dont have to stay on said map you could always use spvp lobby to sell and bank aswell.

You do understand the concept of 'QoL', right?

I do but there are already items in place in game that take care of those two complaints.

You do understand that anet wont put something in game that negate one of their gem store selling items namely permanent harvesting tools, right?

I gather it's unlikely. Not all of those suggestions are my own, i just included as many as possible for completeness.

spending 10k gold for a portable vendor doesn't strike me as a very practical solution to that particular complaint, though.

And like bank tabs, shared slots have a habit of filling themselves. Being able to buy 'reserved' slots, or some kind of account upgrade to allow gathering tools to be equipped across multiple characters, would solve this complaint more effectively - even if you had to buy the upgrade separately for each character you wanted it to apply to, i'm certain people would do it. and it would make ANet money in the process (though whether enough to offset the development cost? i can't guess. Too much spaghetti code, not enough knowledge of how difficult this would be to implement)

Again, most of these requests are not mine, i just wanted some insight into what other players felt would improve their quality of life/play, and it got so many responses that i felt it was worth sharing here for more attention.

I clicked.

I saw build templates right at the top. No offense to everyone else who contributed to the rest of that discussion, but

I cried a little.

This is like the most important thing missing from GW1. Why it never came out with HoT or PoF, now that we have 3 specs (I know technically theres more) so to speak, is beyond me.

well if they do it would most likely cost the same as buying unbreakable tools for each characters so again why should they reinvent the wheel just so you can open up your 1 set of unlimited tools on multiple characters when you can already do so by buying as many sets of 3 as you want?
