There are other threads about the topic, why open a new one? And seriously come on, everyone should know enough English to play the game. I play it in English even though I’m not a native speaker.

Wasn't the game blocked in Russia? Seems a bit silly to spend money translating to a language where the main market for it is going to be blocked.

Nope, it is not anymore. It was never specifically blocked in Russia, they just blocked piles of random IPs and Arenanet happened to be one of them. The people who run these blocks have probably never even heard about GW2.

 

And basically, every country can block the game IP at will same way, for example if some idiot puts the game in the blocked list in England, it will be not accessible for them too.
