Can we just accept.changes and move on

Alright fine that was hyperbolic.

On the other hand I'm so used to going Real Fast that not having those buffs just feels dreadful.

With that logic, they never will get it right. Someone is always complaining and negative no matter what they do or how right it is.

People say this a lot, but it's not true. And it's reflected in the cost of 'prefix' and 'suffix' weapon items in Kamadan & with the NPCs who trade in the armor equivalents.

* Max attribute bonuses

* Max mana or max health

* 20/20 sets of weapons as well as other items

* To soulbind or not to bind

* the minimum 'r' on weapons with special skins dictates its GW1 market value

* reclaiming 'upgrades' requires special salvage kits, which do not stack

* saving the upgrades is a problem, especially since storage is harder to come by in GW1

 

And without a TP, people were at the mercy of who showed up in Kamadan some of these items. (Not to mention, not even Kormir could help if you wanted a specific weapon skin with the appropriate attributes.)

 

GW1 wasn't awful in terms of gearing (it does have some convenient features), but it wasn't some paradise that should be emulated in GW2 either.
