Having a gtaoe also proc an unchanneled pbaoe was a bad idea that shouldn't have made it past the brainstorm session in the same way giving thief a 1500 range backstab was certain to be a mess.

Soulbeast has its own set of issues. Having idiot-proof design isn't one, unlike scourge

Permaboon is too Op.

Siege needs Boon Stripping, since it can no longer effect maximum damage effect.

If you can't put Boon Stripping on siege, then Boons need to have a severe Cooldown. This perma-up ability for entire groups or zergs is the pits. It's giving a severe mentality to losing groups that they can't do any damage, and giving the permaboon groups a case of the severe smirks.

This would be in favor of the Defender even more

Yes if would balance out the perma boon meta and 'ball of dead*

But IT Will have a larger impact on smaller groups and roaming groups who rely on those 4-5 Boons for their survivability

And would lower the skillfloor in this gamemode even more

Exactly. What people who advocate for even more boon stripping fail to realize is that power creep is usually not a good thing. Boon strip on siege would make the current meta comps even more mandatory than before, because they would be the only comps that can keep the boon coverage that they need in order to keep up with the boon stripping. Professions and comps that spam less boons would be what is impacted most negatively.

 

What needs to happen is major nerfing in boon application on certain builds, so that the power creep is reversed.
