Ashantara.8731 Posted March 29, 2019 Share Posted March 29, 2019 **UPDATE:** Actions/loading are/is delayed (actions sometimes up to 1 min and longer!), also random "The Game Client has lost connection" issues, one client crash as well. (Note: The client crashed for all five members of my party half an hour ago when we attempted to enter my home instance!) It's impossible to play SAB this way. :/ You cannot time jumps or pick up baubles or do boss fights. Please fish. Please fix this, ANet! This has been a server issue for days now! (I'm on EU server, but several NA players have reported similar issues since SAB went live.) P.S. Right now, all my actions and skills have a delay of circa 30 seconds, which includes dying (I can walk around below the map before the game finally registers that I'm dead and need to respawn). **UPDATE 2:** I just wasted 3 hours (!) as I was almost done killing all Assassins and collecting all Baubles in SAB W2Z2, when I lost connection to the server. **Can we finally get an official statement on this issue??** Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's also a strange disconnect, as it just leaves me with a black screen, which I must minimized and close the client through Windows. Also, odd happenstances with moving items to and from bank. Thanks, that was helpful. :+1: :) Yes, have had such a disconnect (black screen) myself several times in the past, but never such weird delays like today (only with skill activation being buggy delayed, but that is usually on days where everyone is experiencing it, so no need for me to make a thread on the forums). Get disconnected, and loading screen for two minutes. This a week ago with extremely long loading screen, and disconnection. Several of my friends have experienced long loading screens too. It started yesterday and happened twice so far this morning. I noticed yesterday there was a patch to fix a server crash but it didn't seem to work. Bent Wookie.3189 Posted March 30, 2019 Share Posted March 30, 2019 I'm in NA also and I'm also experiencing the following: -chat and combat lag -mount and dismount lag -stacked "unstable server" pop-ups every few minutes (I click one and additional instances of the pop-up are beneath it) -kicked to character select screen -completely black screen lasting for a minute or more between selecting a character and getting the loading screen I've run Gw2-64.exe /repair on my GW2 files, reset my modem and router, cycled power on my PC, and confirmed that my ISP was not currently doing any "account maintenance" as they call it (which causes spotty service). This all started for me with the release of this year's Super Adventure Festival. Someone suggested that I ask my ISP to provide me with a new hop path. I thought it was best to ask for help from the community here first since these symptoms only show up in GW2 and only after SAB went live a couple days ago. Get the 'The client has lost connection to the server...' message, and then black screen with GW2 cursor. Must minimize to close through taskbar. Cynder.2509 Posted March 30, 2019 Share Posted March 30, 2019 I experienced similar disconnects within SAB too but they were only like 5 over the past 3 days but there's another weird connection thing happening every time at reset. I can't seem to whisper or mail anyone at 1:00 AM CET (2:00 AM CEST today since the clocks are changed by one hour) when the dailyies reset for like 30 minutes. It's always happening around at that time which is weird and also dates back before SAB. Might be a server related issue then. I just wanted to share my experience with recent connectivity issues as well because it may be helpful for the Devs to describe the problems as everyone else here does. Bent Wookie.3189 Posted March 30, 2019 Share Posted March 30, 2019 I ran the diagnostic twice. The first time was before I called my Internet Service Provider. I had over 30 hops, and hop #7 showed over 50% packet loss. When I called my ISP's tech support and reported this, the agent was highly skeptical. She instructed me to reset my modem and run the diagnostic again after everything was back up. I only had 9 to 10 hops after that with maybe 3% packet loss by the time I reached ArenaNet. Since I also uninstalled the game, I'm currently re-installing and can't yet report if any of what I did improved my game's network stability. Best of luck to us all.
