Are there ascended trinkets with assassin stats?

If so, what are they called, or where do you get them?

 

The wiki says there are (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ascended_trinket), but when you go to one of the vendor pages (Guild Commendation Trader, for example), they have all the other Central Tyria stats, but not assassin.

I would, but using precious map currencies to get old-world stats is a waste. I still have close to a hundred slots to fill. I'm trying to find ways to acquire items (trinkets, in this case) via means other than LW S3 map currencies, wherever possible.

True, but you could reset those mist stats with a minimal cost if needed.

Clink the link above where it says "Central Tyria Prefix Family", again on the same page you originally were looking at.

Looking for options to find the optimal way *for ones own play style* is neither "rude" nor is it "not wanting to work for" it.

 

There was nothing condescending in Daddicus's reply that I could see, simply clarification of what they meant and why the prefer not to use the LS3 option.

Still not seeing it. There are four occurrences of "Central Tyria Prefix Family". One has a link in it, and also above it, but they both point to the same place: the general list.

He gave two definitions, one of which was completely unnecessary, defining precious like it isn't a common word. There is also no explanation as to why map currencies are off the table, outside of them being "precious." I'm not even sure what you would want with those currencies outside of the ascended gear.

If you look at that chart (still linked above), there's a checkbox for each member of the "Central Tyria" prefix family. That is where the family is defined and, to the best of my understanding, the only place.

 

Would it be useful for the wiki to have a page for "prefix family"? Sure. Right now, it doesn't (not that I've found). On the other hand, acquisition of specific stats in this game is a bigger mess because ...well, it's a long story and not relevant to your question. The fact that the wiki sheds any light at all on the situation is amazing in my opinion, it's a vast improvement from how it was when HoT launched.

 

The point is that all your questions can already be answered on the wiki, although it takes some legwork to track down the details.

I use map currencies a lot. I have 117 ascended trinkets and back items on my characters, almost ninety of which are from map currencies and fractals/wvw currencies. They're not off the table. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to buy things.

 

Regarding assassin stats specifically (this thread), it appears my only options are Arah/Caudecus manor for accessories, and fractals/wvw for all trinkets (including accessories) and back items.

Thank you. My post as originally conceived was a bit snarky, but I got rid of those parts, and added the "it was my fault" part. I don't like to offend people needlessly, and I'm glad you weren't offended.
