In the absence of that moist dream, I think the gods will return to the story since we're otherwise at the end of things. Cantha feels a million miles away, right now. So perhaps we follow them to wherever they went...

My speculation is that we'll start to explore the influence of the only other female elder dragon besides Aurene, the Deep Sea Dragon/Syclla (DSD). Most of our communication with Aurene will be psychic voices or through Caithe for the season. We might get Domain of Winds opened up with some allusions and teasers to Cantha there (where much of the Tengu came from) to lead into the next existential threat (has the DSD been able to corrupt the melting Jade Sea and put the Cantha Tengu and the Empire in Peril?). A few open ocean maps to make use of our underwater tweaks from season 4. Potentially a dive mount with a bioluminescent ability needed to see in the depths (either as a mastery or by default) going into next expansion. Our new Mario-Coin map currency may take the form of a subsiding magic or only be underwater and eaten by our dive mount. We'll see more underwater hunter pets. We may see DSD minions added to existing coastal maps and those with water ways. All of these leading into a full Cantha expansion after season 5, which we may then or afterwards deal with DSD proper (of which then we could see Aurene bargain to try and reason with or purify the DSD, and that put #TeamCrystalBloom into conflict with whatever faction in Cantha made a faustian bargain with #TeamBubbles. We may even setup Kuunavang or one of the other Saltspray dragons to take DSD's place.)

I wish they would save "more maps" for expansion and rather focus on revisiting old maps and spending resources elsewhere in season 5.

There are quite a few things rarely anyone wouldn't be happy to see, like more guild functionality and tools, more stuff for guild hall that is not just grind for the sake of gold sink, more instanced/repeatable content, more skins, more skills and so on.
