Sarpan.9074
What is it that triggers Aurene showing up during events in DF? I've seen her joining the fight a few times and have no idea why.

Randulf.7614
I’ve seen her turn up with diff numbers of players so it appears to be random During the meta when you attack a weak point, 3+ people at the start in the highlighted area will trigger her attack but i am uncertain if this counts towards the achievement
Inculpatus cedo.9234
The message, "There are not enough players present to summon Aurene.", or something to that affect displays sometimes. That's why I believe it has something to do with players present. Could mean something else, I suppose. /shrug

She just flies in and attacks until she has cleared up, then flies away
Naxos.2503
From what I noticed, Aurene shows up when the player fights alone during an event. The message "There is not enough players present to summon Aurene" likely refers to the Kralk meta where 3 players need to stand near one of his wounds to summon Aurene so she can flame it open, allowing players to dish damage
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Ahh, that must be the case, then.
Kaliwenda.3428
I was wondering about that, at first I thought maybe she was attached to one of the players around me for some reason whenever I saw her, but having her pop up randomly is a nice touch, I think. :)

She just flies in and attacks until she has cleared up, then flies away I had her show up when i was fighting the big spark thing on the plateau not during the kralk event, and i was alone at the time, then 2 more people showed up. So its hard to say but i think its more random than not.

Sarpan.9074
Thanks for the responses. It sounds like quite a few of us are in the dark about this mechanic. FWIW, the best I remember, the three or four times I've noticed her showing up were on precursor events like escorts with 4-6 other players participating. And, I've also seen the message about not enough players to call Aurene at least a couple of times that I've noticed. Obviously, there is a wide variety of situations in which our little darling decides to swoop in and help us.

She’s helped me when I’ve been alone. Not even doing an event and she’s landed to help me out. It’s a totally random occurrence on the map, as I’ve seen her when I’ve been near other players too. Inculpatus cedo.9234
Already said it wasn't players present. Does no one read the whole thread?

She just flies in and attacks until she has cleared up, then flies away Yeah I think it might be 2 separate things. During the meta she's 100% guarenteed to appear and open a weak spot once 3 or more people are present. But she can also appear randomly to help anyone fight anything. I can't see any consistency in her appearances in the second case (which is why I think it's random). She's appeared to help a group of 10 people fighting a champion, to help me on my own fighting normal mobs as I was exploring and during events (fighting everything, not just event mobs).
