I’d buy that for a dollar.

Heck. I’d pay 2 dollars to sit on the sidelines with a beer and watch.

that would be awsome

And then WvW would complain about it. "Weh, get PvE out of our WvW!"

Nobody wants this "mixed" map idea, and even if it did happen, the most appropriate place for it is WvW. And to be honest, WvW needs more side mechanics that can influence the map besides "run around in circles killing towers". There need to be reasons to keep/defend, and if the game population can't support it, it needs PvE-esque elements to force the issue.

The popcorn would be _expensive_, though.

As long as it’s a new and completely separate map I wouldn’t care, as no PvE person would need to touch it. However since it would pull players from WvW I doubt ANet would ever add this to the game.

> >

The ability to avoid participating is what makes the entire concept fall apart from the get go. PvE-only players treat PvP like its terrorism, PvP players don't like large scale fights and will end up ganking randos and complaining about how terrible the players are, and the WvW players will see all the other players not working the objectives to be a waste of a map slot.

Notice, how "right" is something different depending on what you like. And it's definitely different depending on whether you;re a primarily PvE, SPvP or WvW player.

For example, _any_ kind of PvP on a PvE map would mean for me that they _didn't_ "make it right". An ability to just zerg your opponents would be unlikely to appeal to competitive SPvP players. And too much PvE on a map would make many WvW players complain. A lot.

no

wvw already has pve components - and nobody likes to do them. Not pve players: because being killed is not fun. Not wvw players: because doing those pve elements is boring compared to the fight one could have.

Also balancing is (thanks to raids) utterly kitten. A mixed map would make it worse. All those pve player tears 'why is my cooldown so long, why do I not do the same damage than to some mob in elona'. thanks, but no thanks.

Here are PvE events the Alpine battlegrounds

[[Clearing out the Centaur camp]](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Eboneigh_Territory)

[[Killing Skritt]](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/)

[[Killing the Champion Spider]](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Defeat_the_champion_spider)

Killing the Veteran Harpy, Wurm or Warg

I’m not familiar with the Desert map. It has Veteran mobs to kill and as I recall it had a big PvE event in the center of the map which was later removed.

It’s an event. You kill mobs and at the end you gain karma/coin according to how much you contributed and the mobs drop loot. How is it different from pve?

Go down to the bottom of the page: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Defeat_the_centaur_leader

You’ll see the standard pve reward table.

because no one will waste their time on it, who need karma, who need trash items? where is the fun on killing trash mobs?, there's no point on it, that's why no one do it, you need real events with epic fights and epic loot to pvp/pve mixed map work, they should at least should give a territory for the world that kill it.

you want a example? tower/castle/keep bosses are actualy pve( even if they are boring as hell because they are easy), but why everyone do it? because theres a reward after it, your world gain the territory, so everyone do it, you need goals plus fun fights with mobs, real bosses like world bosses or fractal/raid bosses, not just throw trash mobs and call pve, if they do that the pvp/pve map will work

No, that’s not how PvE works. PvE events range from small to large. Just because it’s not huge doesn’t mean those events are not PvE.

Note the description

Defeat the centaur leader is a level 80 **event** that occurs in Blackwicker Territory/Brownmane Territory/Eboneigh Territory.

Click on event on the wiki and it sends you to a page on Dynamic Events, which is how PvE events are set up.

You asked where the PvE events are and I showed you. Just because WvW players aren’t interested in PvE events and don’t do it because it’s a waste of their time doesn’t make it not a PvE event.

tell me if they turn all pve mobs in all maps into rats who will play it?no one because that will be boring, that's the same what happens in wvw maps, they are rats, trash mobs, so no one care about it

Nobody cares about 90% of the mobs in PVE either. I only kill them because i need karma(damn you obsidian shards). Since the RNG on drops in this game is terrible there are way faster ways to make gold so really, all mobs anywhere are a distraction, regardless of if its in PVE or WVW(Sorry, PVPE).

Do you even know how to discuss something?

You asked where the PvE events in WvW are

I gave links

Then you said they are not PvE but filler

I gave links showing the definition as being events, which means it’s a dynamic event, and showed a PvE reward table

Then you’re saying nooooo it’s not because it’s small and boring. Only big events count.

Quit moving the goalposts. There are PvE events in WvW. The size of the PvE event isn’t important and isn’t what you originally asked, which was what PvE events are in WvW.

you don't care now because you probably have all your necessary items and max level, but one day you had to kill them to level up or something so they had a point to be there, that's the point here, to a pvp/pve map work they need to give fun fights and rewards for END GAME content, not just throw trash mobs and say that we have a pve/pvp map.

even if they are pve by definition they are filler no matter how you try to describe it, they are just there because they throw it there, if they put some rats for the scenario on SPVP will you start calling it pve/pvp mixed map?

Just because you don’t like them or think they shouldn’t be there doesn’t mean they aren’t PvE events. PvE events are still PvE events even if WvW players don’t find them rewarding to do or think they shouldn’t be on WvW maps.

Here is an article about Dynamic Events: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dynamic_event

I suggest you read it over in order to learn what makes something a PvE event.
