The shield generators are the BS. Let's remember they were implemented with PoF, which had **MANY MANY MANY** good improvements to WvW with Guild Claiming and Upgrades (well done Arenanet). Sadly that system didn't get much attention afterwards, but suc~~h~~k is the Arenanet way. The shield generators were one of the things Arenanet got wrong. They look fun on paper but they are totally annoying and should be MUCH less useful than they are.
