slowpoke.1894
Hi. Have my ranger up to level 19 and have been doing map completion, events, hearts etc. I am wondering when you start seeing group content like dungeons? Is there a group finder, or do you make your own groups? Thank you much.

It is in the same tab as your friend list. 2) You can make your own group 3) First dungeon is available from level 30 (Ascalonian Catacombs) and new one every 10 levels. Ojimaru.8970
Depending on your timing, the first significant group content occurs around level 17 areas of the first zones (e.g., Metrinca Province, Queensdale) in the form of a World Boss. Beyond that, any dynamic event is considered group content as the event difficulty scales up with the number of players within the vicinity. Tanek.5983
And, if you want to aim for one of the world bosses Ojimaru mentions above, but don't want to have to rely on happening to be in the right place at the right time, you can check the right time with the link below. Warning: the wiki will contain spoilers with info on which bosses are where, when, and how to beat them. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Event_timers
Randulf.7614
You will get a mail when the first dungeon becomes available to you and then for each subsequent dungeon until the final one. After that all group instances are level
Danikat.8537
FYI the Looking for Group tool works different to in some other games. Firstly it's not just for dungeons and raids - it can be used for any type of content and is frequently used to form groups for open-world events that require a lot of people, particularly the long meta-events on maps like Silverwastes and the Heart of Thorns maps. Secondly it's not automated - it lists all the groups who are looking for members and then it's up to you to pick one to join based on what they're doing and their description. It also won't teleport you to the map, you need to go there first but you can then use the party menu to make sure you're in the same copy of the map as the rest of the group (right click a party members portrait and select 'Join in [map name]').
