  1. Bottom line for me, this LW episode has me seriously considering not buying the next expansion expansion or buying gems for the very 1st time since starting with GW 1. The next LW additions will speak volumes. Hopefully the team gets the message and that they are putting the game as risk with their current direction.

Or did merchants in Australia decide that there was not enough profit for them to re-sell them. I'd like to see proof of your statement. Yep they (Anet) did , ALL sources of Gem Cards (Canada) disappeared from all the places they were available (including Amazon CA which only has the cards from 3rd party vendors that are selling (stealing) at inflated prices). I really doubt that walmart, best buy, eb, amazon etc colluded to not carry them.

The Alliances announcement being one of those things that some forum posters just won't let go. It's easier for Anet to release something with a modicum of fanfare than to suggest/announce something that doesn't show and then get kittened on by the forums for it. > > I definitely agree with you. Any interaction they have is likely to be a bad one and, even though I believe it is their fault due to them being pretty unreliable, it would be much easier to avoid that all together and not say anything. > That and I really don't think they care at all. How hard is it to make announcement and/or a final response or update then lock the thread , but I completely agree with the second bullet about caring.

I disagree with the misguided direction the game is going, but never have I considered that the game is dying or dead.
  6. The only thing stopping me from buying the infinite one is the ridiculous cool down time and not ticking down when off line.

Who the heck is 'everyone'?? Stop playing if 'everyone' is not playing. Maybe you are listening to wrong 'everyone'. Some of the responses seem to confirm you are listening to wrong advice.
  8. Funny when I went to may account settings NOT ONE of the 3 options were turned on. So either there is a bug or NCSoft is ignoring my choice not to receive any of their news letters.
