  1. It's been requested more times than I can remember, in both these and the old forums. From what I can recall (unless someone else can find the elusive and maybe extinct response(s) from Anet) it has been totally ignored. Ditto for requests to have save points during personal stories.

I would've loved to keep playing everyday but i enlisted so, life happens, oh well,. The thing is, for new or returning players, nowhere does it say that after paying $30-$80 for the expansions you're still unable to play many parts of the story. As a matter of fact it says Icebrood Saga is included, which as you just stated is clearly not the case, it just gives you access. Anyways, it's a real bummer for me especially since i'm one of those people who is really into the story and achievements. Lastly, i'm not sure if this is true, but a guildmate said that the least amount of money ArenaNet made in a year was a tad under $50 million usd, it would just be nice to let their customers know that even after buying the expansions you still arent able to access 2 dozen episodes. Merry Christmas :) > > > > Very few people are unaware of how the episode acquisition works. They (anet)have been very straight foward. Also , this has been discussed here more than once as the search feature will show. And the games wiki also helps. I can understand the frustration of a new player joining the game for the 1st time, but that is the way always has been for the episodes. > > Only people who have obtained an expansions and most of the seasons are aware of how episode acquisition works. But, it is not those people who need to be informed about how to buy the expansions now. > Nearly all of the people now buying the expansions will be new players who are unaware of how the seasons have been given out. For new players the messaging is quite poor on what they get and what content they need to obtain with gems. I thought it was pretty clear on the Living story info page https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049722974-Living-World-Episode-Unlocks which says "There are two methods for unlocking episodes: acquiring it for free during its release window, or purchasing it at a later date. and If a user misses the window for acquiring an episode for free, these episodes can also be purchased for 200 Gems. To purchase an episode, simply navigate to the Story Journal in your Hero Panel. Any episodes which have not been unlocked yet will be marked with a "lock" icon, as well as a "Buy Now" button which can be clicked to spend Gems to unlock the episode. and Please note that purchasing an expansion does not automatically unlock the Living World episodes within its associated season(s). Users will still need to purchase these episodes if they did not login during the original release windows. Expansions simply grant the ability to play associated episodes which have already been unlocked, and will allow users to immediately start playing new episodes as they are released."

I am sorry, about the 'searched' comment. Nothing has changed or will change with regards to race change until/unless Anet says something different (which they explained clearly as a NO). Players can not know of a change , only speculate or wishful thinking until Anet says something something different in one of their rare posts or interactions with the community.
  6. Couldn't say it better than hugo ^^^!!!!! I found LS fine and enjoyed them until Drizzlewood started, OK, I did it and have moved on. But DRMS????? What were they thinking??? (Just loved getting aetherblade keys from DRMs drop btw)

  10. Short answer NO. Search function or google https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/44476/is-it-possible-to-have-a-mount-without-buying-the-path-of-fire-expansion
  11. Give it up, not going to happen as pointed out by Anet with links provided by other players.
  12. Skyscale, and yes you will have to work on it. And it has limitations as well, it isn't the be all of mounts---- NOTHING is 'easy'. That's the nature of the game. A ten minute vid is all it takes, it will take you some time to grind it out. or https://www.ayinmaiden.com/skyscale You will just have to do what everyone else has done t get mounts.

Any backpack or glider that has been released before they introduced dyeable backpacks and gliders has the same problem. Some gliders not having channels wasn’t a technical thing like backpacks, but a design decision not to have the channels assigned. 15. Search function! This has been addressed in many other threads.
  16. Change in staff, direction and leadership? Can't put it any other way. The older LWs were much better in every way for me. And Aetherkey Pieces dropping in the DRM, real nice rewards---NOT!!
  17. > @"crepuscular.9047" said: > why we get this type of post every time Anet refreshes BLC? it's all RNG, sometime you are lucky sometimes you arent True, but some believe that their RNG is manipulated in Anets favor, or it is broken and there are outlier accounts that will get SFA.
  18. ^^^^^^ Confirming what Adzekul has said. As to his speculation, I hope they aren't doing it on purpose. My SPECULATION: They don't have the expertise to fix it anymore so they ignore it and don't communicate(like other bugs). It seems (from all the other threads about this same issue (search function!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)) that this happens only on the default mount.
  19. > @"maddoctor.2738" said: > Sad. I expected to read about Battle Royale mode which is all the rage nowadays. I mean, it works for Fortnite, so it would surely work for Guild Wars 2 right? right? /s One can always go and play fortnight or the zillion other (sarcasm) battle royal games out there.
  20. NO, NO NO,!!!!!! Another not a chance in hades suggestion.
  21. > @"Khisanth.2948" said: > Glyphs are useful but alchemy and crucible are terrible choices. They require paying more attention to what you are gathering since it is not always desirable to convert. ANd that's what shared inventory takes care of. I have a sprocket one and an alchemy one for mining. It no hassle at all if you plan ahead and know the nodes.
  22. > @"Veprovina.4876" said: > > @"Jorhn.3926" said: > > You can also use this : > > https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Glyph_of_Alchemy > > > > To convert mithril node into orichalcum node > > Thanks but that's a cash shop item right? For that price i'd have to farm a LOT of materials in general to break even. It's well worth it. Take a few hrs farming etc , make grow lamps and sell them if you have the mats for example, add some pearls, armored scales, sell sprockets etc and you will have the gold . PS go through your bank, I bet there are are few things that you don't use, need, or can break down for even more quick gold.
  23. Nothing to see here, they make skins anytime they want, no need for new mounts or fulling a personal I want list.
  24. I like to see my effects. Now an option to hide the effects of all other players during combat would be most welcome. That being said, it is not a bug and perhaps it would be better asked under suggestions or general discussions.
