  1. this doesn't warrant being called a patch, its been a year since they completely ruined so many things (like hammer warrior, an already underused weapon pre feb2020, nerfed out of existence.) the minor tweaking of a dozen skills does not constitute a balance patch, especially when they dropped the ball so spectacularly over a year ago, we need things fixed asap.

A full set includes heavy, medium, light, times five races, times two sexes, so it's like developing 30 sets. It takes nine months to develop. but see thats the BS part. i can guarantee you that they aren't creating an entirely new model from scratch for each race, they'll finish the first set (probably on a human model) and then tweak it for the other races. (and all this entails is scaling and moving parts, and also sometimes making alternate foot and tail additions for charr.) human, norn, sylvari and asura all use the same model with mere scaling adjustments. (asura sometimes get two points added to their boots.) so this "developing 30 sets" nonsense is already BS. plus we aren't talking about making different sets for the 3 different weights, we're talking about chopping up outfits, when it comes to weights, all that would mean is splitting the outfit up at slightly different points. so while i don't believe for a second that it takes 9 months for them to make and tweak SIX (not 30...) different armour sets. it would definitely not take 9 months to chop outfits up, no way in hell.
  3. cool idea :) > @"DebraKadabra.5278" said: > I already have bad enough situational motion sickness (still) from Skimmer. Something like this would exacerbate my issue. It's a no from me. it could be done without tying your camera to the spinning, like how when your character uses cyclone axe or something, your camera doesn't spin
  4. i always hear people saying "it takes 8 months to make an armour set!" and other such nonsense. **how?** over a decade ago i was taking 3d classes and i made a half decent full character in less than a week, that was me, a random newbie. (and that was back then with old tech) IT SHOULD NOT take a massive company like Anet _[whatever hilarious timeframe people are using as an excuse]_ to make armour. "oh but each race/weight has different cut off points!" so what? thats extremely easy to do. then theres the "clipping" excuse, "outfits weren't designed to mix with other parts so there would be clipping!" yeah? so what? i could make a truly awful clipfest character right now if i wanted to "clipping" doesn't seem like a good enough excuse when so many armour pieces in game already clip. there is no satisfactory excuse. outfits are pretty much a full set of armour already, are you really telling me it takes 8 months to chop it into bits? rather like 8 minutes.
  5. i actually liked the HoT difficulty, it really felt like "we aren't in Kansas anymore!" as you head into the brand new zone and everything is tougher than the pushover mobs we were used to, really made it feel like end game content for the experienced hero!
  6. shouldn't we be thankful that they're neglecting balance? i mean... look what happened last time. unless this elusive balance patch is reverting the last, i don't want it. usually we say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but in this case i'll settle for "you've broke it already, don't make it even worse!"
  7. but what about Shatterstone? gotta adjust the aftercast delay or cast time by 0.01s or else elementalists won't feel complete!
  8. i play zerkers that blow stuff up in seconds, my guard is super strong, my warrior and ranger are stronger!
  9. the new high heels armour skin. i really want more sexy armour in this game, so when i saw the heels they were an instant purchase! but then i realised that i didn't have anything else on my warrior that works with them, its all too bulky! (maybe when Anet finally wisen up and add bikini armour skins!) oh and the Bat Wings, (they were the first dragon-kinda wings released.) they just look so ugly and static compared to the new dragon wings that move and bend. feels almost like i bought an alpha version.
  10. all world bosses have their models replaced with larger Quaggans :-3
  11. i made Tracer from Overwatch as a pistol thief, but i got bored with them and deleted them awhile back. i also have my super special mesmer, complete with a Lamp and magic carpet XD ![](https://i.imgur.com/61kkyvo.jpg "")
  12. YES! i used to be excited for patch days, wondering what underused skills or obscure builds would finally get to shine. but now i dread patches, because i wonder what is going to be nerfed next... its been nearly a year since they absolutely murdered my hammer warrior (an already niche build that noone played) a revert on the feb2020 nerfs would be amazing.
  13. charr burnt ascalon, we hunted charr, ALL CHARR MUST DIE! but jokes aside, you'll probably get your wish anyway since as you said, there seems to be a "lets get rid of dragons" thing going on. probably to clear the way for a new "big bad" in the next expansion, (return of the other gods? mursaat? quaggans?) so aurene will probably need to be swept under the carpet too to bring an end to the dragon storyline.
