  1. For amateur players? Yes. For skilled players? No. But that'll be enough for some PvP players to continue to demand druids be nerfed even further. And if you doubt that, look at any of the threads that discuss these changes. You'll find those players already demanding more nerfs.

If I had to guess? I think that's part of the reason for it. Few rangers I've seen play Soulbeast compared to Druid. In most cases, groups don't want Soulbeast. And I always found it telling that more nerfs happened to druid after this newest expansion than Soulbeast even to this day. Usually, a new 'class' dominates the field as far as people wanting to play it. That's the case for almost all the other classes.

    But not Soulbeast . . . and there's a reason.

Well . . . that explains the behavior I saw yesterday. This asura swam in place, but continually shot at anything that spawned nearby even if it was out of range. But he instantly switched to whatever mob spawned closest . . . which eventually was always the vet near the treasure chest.

(I've had 2, 2, 3 so far...). That makes 255 days if you get no dropped keys, which is about eight and a half months. Guess I'm going back to Sandswept to harvest drakes and sharks and moas and stuff (combine Volatile Magic and Ornate Rusted Key farming).

    Wow. That's awesome.

God . . . it's a sad state when I have to agree with this. But, yes, again Iboga is no joke. My spouse and I used them as a pair and tested the effect on a champion. It just melted in mere moments. I didn't need to use my elite on veterans, and they dissolved in the same timeframe like I had used it. Fastest I saw one die was three seconds flat. Pretty insane if you have conditions stacked on a target quickly. Any normal soft targets collectively die in seconds.

So . . . yeah . . . another nerf inc once rangers realize this and use them in PvP.

  6. Maybe it's just me, but I like the people who want to discuss nerfs and balance about a class to actually play the said class with knowledge and experience. I don't go to another class forum to offer my 'opinion', and I'd hope other posters would do the same _if_ they don't play that class.

Otherwise, your opinion carries no weight in my humble opinion.

  7. Squishy as all-get-out, but the damage is no joke now. The aggro is lacking as well but just soloed a champ in Spark Fen with it. About as good as the jacaranda, but much squisher. I'd use it more if it held aggro. But if you love dodging mobs and melee, it might be the pet for you.

But it definitely needs a health buff.

Yes, I've noticed the difference in PvE. And how!

I'd like to direct you to the nonstop complaints on the PvP. forums. After you read them, see if there is a correlation from the complaints to the 'balance' in update patches. Once you've done that, please come back to tell us how people here have no idea how that mythical MMO unicorn called 'balance' works.

    We'll wait.

  10. On top of all that, does anyone remember the "No rangers!" trend in LFG? I do. For many years. Finally, rangers albeit via druids are wanted, and now the argument is it isn't because of PvP, but because: "Well! They took my spot! Nerf them."

    Utterly insane.

  11. The old forums were created by someone who no longer updated it. Because of this many functions, like search didn't work. The new forums are updated from the antiquated one. Nothing as dire as a crash or reset . . . just out with the old and in with the new. :)

Also, ANet removed all bans and suspensions from the old forum to give those posters a second chance on the new ones.

    Hope this answer helped.

  12. @"jokobet.6081" That has to be — hands down — the most ridiculous counterpoint I've ever read on these forums. And that's saying a lot. So . . . let me get this right . . . druid healing was nerfed, not because of the nonstop complaints in PvP, but from PvE players, so their 'healing' spec class could share a 'piece of the cake' to use your words?

    . . .

I don't even have the words to respond to that.
