  1. Gold when it's a boring week or I have another game I really enjoy, Platinum/Diamond when it's a fun week.
  2. "Why don't you go flip some camps instead of fighting outnumbered?" Because it's boring. Come on now.
  3. [looking at a thing called "Gift of Battle"] Why are you making me do battles for this!? Unfair.

Id rather just wait out the bubble? Against Warriors I think Id much rather interrupt their big heal, than cancel a block prematurely. Especially the spellbreaker one. I'm talking about playing Staff Daredevil in zerg-vs-zerg: one of your few really good "special tricks" is messing up the bubble on a melee push.

  6. Don't pick a roaming build based on camp flipping. Flipping camps solo is pretty easy. If you want to do it *really fast,* your options are a bit more constrained. But many, many builds can do it in about 30s-1min with zero practice or effort, especially once you have WvW Rank points in "Guard Killer" to give you a ton of free endurance while you're fighting the NPCs. If you really like Rev and want to get better at it, consider just playing more Rev. Sword/Sword Power Herald is very mobile, a strong duelist, and reasonably capable in 1vX once you get good. Trailblazer Herald or Trailblazer Renegade are incredibly durable and versatile. (Herald for great personal sustain in a pure melee build, Renegade for the extra flexibility of shortbow — play Mallyx/Jalis and don't bother with Kaalia spirits in a condi build, imo.) Nice thing about doing it all on one character is you can switch builds/roles even if the map you're on has a full queue. P/D Condi Thief is cancer but it's honestly more just a build check for your opponents than a real good roaming build in its own right. For thief, Power builds have much better traits and weapon support, and better play-making potential in small-scale skirmishes (imo).

Yet another chapter of living story released without a strike mission that prepares players for raids. I thought the goal was to give people a clear path to raiding content? That is what you claimed back at the beginning of the Icebrood Saga. There's a ton of stuff in this game to "prepare players for raids." The biggest obstacle to widespread raiding will always be in organizing a raid group itself. I'd much rather have some more interesting single-player/hot-join PvE stuff to do than yet another thing where all my playtime is gated through joining a PVE guild or staring at the LFG list.

When I'm using the TP for crafting I don't just stand there and buy stuff, I have to look at the crafting station and expand/contract the requirements for the item I want to make to craft the intermediate components and see how many raw materials I'm missing.
  9. I find it kinda funny that folks are still going on about "special core-only week" when the biggest flavor-of-the-month build right now is plain old Marauder Staff Guardian.

Since the feb25 patch trailblazer works overall better than dire to my experience, because the base duration of a lot of conditions has become pretty low. Yeah. The value of a double-duration Taunt, Slow, Chill, or Immob is *immense.* For Mez you've also got skills that apply pretty big stacks of short-duration Confusion, and making those last longer makes it a lot harder to just "wait it out" (by accident or on purpose).
