  1. this is the cycle of mesmer and im sure it has been repeated by others many times....nerf to crap > expansion (OP) > nerf to crap > expansion (OP) and the thing they fail to realize is an expansion isn't going to solve the core issue, its only going to make things more complicated to solve by adding more layers of crap.

  3. Its not the first time promises were broken, more often balance updates and the topic that is more elusive then mirage is alliances.

The only difference between thieves and mesmers is that thieves have no weapon CD and are able to get out of combat easily, mesmer on the other hand you blow most of you utilities etc to land a burst and once that fails you are pretty much dead. So no there is no comparison between thieves and mesmer. If you want to talk about more damage then stop running Shadow Arts.

Not trying to hamper your dreams to play mesmer but if you look at the rotation required for chrono power in pve is a lot longer and more complicated with more rooms of fck up inbetween then any other classes. In pvp/wvw mesmers are becoming an extinct class due to everything just being able to do better. Now idiots will say oh no ive seen good mesmers and they still kill me, well thts because tht person probably mains the class rather then jumping into the flavor of the month class or getting a build off metabattle thinking my build is meta if something beats it then therefore the class they r playing is op.

  7. the fact that you said thieves are less dominant in WvW + "they have the safest roaming disengage when things go bad" is all I need to read. A good mesmer vs a thief in the same skill cap mesmers should never win. In terms of reapers thieves cc locking + kite reapers / necros really dont have much left for them as they have NO access to stab besides elite + reaper 3. The point of it wasn't to complain about thieves, for once mesmers don't get the oh they need a nerf and now going on thieves yet thief mains are defending how much they need buffs etc etc saying they arent that good blah blah blah. Honestly finding it to be hilarious.
  8. Id hope they would probably fix the game at it's current state rather then pumping new content and finding more complications along the way more dire in SPvP and WvW game modes.
  9. No for a very simple reason. Too many mesmer traits revolve and work around shatters if you are asking for a spec that does no shatter that means ALL those shatter related traits would have to have a 2nd effect specifically for a non shatter mesmer spec. With how they balanced mirage by removing a dodge rather then going another route I doubt they will decide to do this. Mirage esp condi mirage is a class that is played more passively having as much clone uptime as possible and only shattering when needed in comparison to Chronos that require to shatter as much as possible to get more alacrity for CD reductions.

  11. Honestly the problem with thieves is SA trait everything else is neglectable if SA trait was nerfed. SA gives incredible amount of sustain to thieves so i don't know why thief mains are saying they don't. Thing with thieves is the ability to reset a fight and reengage right away with no CD aside from utilities which in most cases are not an issue because yes shortbow 5 cannot be spammed anymore but its still one of the best disengage tools in the game.

  14. no u will not it will disable any legendary aura or effects if u skin the legendary. u will however keep the function of changing stats and removing upgrades. u couldve easily tested this out without any issues.
  15. sigh new games r coming out with high hopes and promises even WoW looks more tempting to go back at this point and tht is saying how poor the state of pvp/wvw is.

Into the Void is a focus pull again I dont know what condi mirage build uses focus offhand because it offers literally nothing. Axes of symmetry is a mid to close range skill u will have to be close enough for it to do anything. Mirage Advance is a cast blink i dont know why anyone would even choose this skill to use. what are you replacing decoy? signet of midnight? blink even??? or perhaps illusionary ambush?? Using Jaunt to catch up with a range of 450 is a joke and a total waste. Again you fail to comprehend what i mean by sticking to your target and being able to chase. Most of the things you listed have high CD or Utilities tht r not used or is a incredible waste trying to catch someone. Most classes tht can stick to u have shorter cd on leaps / dashes and many times they r only weapon skills NOT utilities.
  17. Again i probably posted this same comment thousands of times, condi mirage is ineffective if you decide to just ignore it and run away. They have no chase or engage potential for them to pin you down. Any class running trailblazers condi will be more destructive then a condi mirage to name a few, necro, thieves, and revs. looking at the recent patch notes it would seem the devs no longer have the interest to balance their game which is funny because they had promised more frequent ones. Other games have been doing constant updates yet this game is not is a clear indication on the status of the game.
  18. From the looks of today's lackluster patch notes it would seem this project is no longer in the works with them trying to push out canthia and whatever cash grab they can release.
