  1. Piken and Deso have both guilds. One can well argue about their qualities but seeing no guild at all is a tiny bit strange. My guess is that Naxos asked the right question about the time of the day when you are playing. Guilds are normally raiding between 8pm and 10 pm CET (2pm-4 pm US East Coast).
  2. > @"Fat Disgrace.4275" said: > Apparently there is a new tree by ogre watch, so that's something When I came to ow, the lumberjacks were there. The tree is now gone again

You find 2 players doing the same. What are these two players doing? Precisely! The run away. If it happens once, ok. I also sometimes dodge fights. But if this happens again and again, one may slowly ask "what the heck am I playing?". It gets weirder when I lose my wing-man and suddenly find myself attacked by the same 2 players who dodged us before.
  4. would be nice. Maybe also "total" and "per week". It should not be too much work to program.
  5. A lot of good points have been made and I guess that we all recognise that it is not a fsp-rof-problem. I would like to turn the attention to a higher level. I guess that the level of toxicity increased because players are bored. It thereby becomes a much bigger problem for anet.
  6. Did anyone see a big transfer wave yet?
  7. It has a maximum capacity. If the capacity is reached, another eotm-map is created. it is like in pve. Yes EOTM is the standard gvg area these days.
  8. The build looks correct. I would recommend to follow a commander a bit first. Your commands still sound correct but they became a bit more sophisticated these days (small stab, big stab,...). Easiest as I said if you follow a commander and you will soon hear the commands.
  9. The rewards for wvw are lausy, I totally agree. However, I would like to see some other issues fixed before turning to the rewards like class balance, population balance,...
  10. I would recommend to play a bit of wvw and leave the "server" issue to the side for the moment. Figure out what WvW is and have some fun.
  11. The topic has been discussed multiple times and each time we were stuck at the question "how". Hence, for you the question: How do you want to provide the commander an economic compensation?
  12. > @"kamikharzeeh.8016" said: > @"gloflop.3510" erm 100 accounts transferlimit? not even full WSR goes over that i think, and they live literally nomadstyle. Let us say one guild are 50 players. Then 100 players are 2 guilds. But before we now start a long discussion about the numbers, Anet has the actual transfer statistics and can decide about a sutiable limit themselves. I would just like to see one to slow the transfer-problem. It is not a solution, just a mitigation.
  13. my honest opinion: There were many good ideas brought forward in the thread but I think that there are more important issues to adress like the population imbalance or the class balance.
  14. Many people made suggestions about how to fix the population problem. In the end, one of the ideas should be done. My favourite is as a short term solution to limit the number of transfers to a server per week to 100 accounts. Yes, we would still see a massive transfer but not as crazy as now and the solution would require only few lines to code.
  15. The fastest way to earn gold in gw2 is pve but to answer your question: The fastest way to earn gold in wvw is by winning large scale blob fights repeatedly with many kills.

  17. I am pretty sure that it is a replacement. First of all because it would be strange not to have a team-leader WvW especially when considering the early times of gw2 when the team was bigger. Second, the missed re-link hints to an organisation problem. My guess is that someone was responsible for wvw who was not aware of the re-link-task. Then someone came to his virtuell office and said "the players are asking for re-link".
  18. I mostly agree with Dawdler. The lone wolf is viable to a certain extend and I prefer a lone wolf over a player on spawn crying for a tag (or just silently waiting for one). Your viablility increases drastically once you are 2-3. I would just like to give some hints: 1) Get a roaming build. A Zerg build is made for zerg play and not roaming. You can switch these days easily between zerg- and roaming build. 2) Try to find others. Dawdler suggested to find a guild. It is not necessary to be in a guild. You can also follow others in the beginning or talk with whoever you just flipped a camp with. The other players are normally very friendly and playing together helps both of you. 3) Learn from your mistakes and adjust. Maybe you need more condi-cleanses to kill the enemy, maybe more heal, maybe more sustain,... 4) Team- and mapchat are your friend. You do not have a voice channel where you can communicate with all other roamers. You only have the chats.
