In Guild Wars 1 you could move items in your UI around to where you liked them. I moved my skill bar to the top of the screen. That made it easy to see my skills and still be able to see my targets.

The problem with such a suggestion is that very few people would choose to play against something they can’t win against and have trouble seeing. What is the incentive to go to that map? It’s not a good farm map and being harassed by the unkillable is only amusing for a while before it gets boring.

The church glass wings the OP is referring to are the new gemstore [[stained Glass Wings backpack and glider]](https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/soar-brilliantly-with-the-stained-glass-wings-backpack-and-glider-combo/)

That’s one possibility. A cheap (not free but a few gems), temporary gemstore Mount that expires after X amount of time.

Just a comment. The animal head isn’t a big cat. It’s the head of a Hound of Balthazar.

Do a daily Tequatl. It gives a good chunk of karma.

If they just need speed to reach events then how about an NPC at core map portals who gives an X minute running speed buff, like the speed buff NPCs in the cities.

The “Older Messages” in a private message thread are bugged. Clicking on Older Messages to get to a previous page in the thread does not work. If someone sends you a couple of messages in a long private message thread and one is on a new page and one is on the previous page, the one on the previous page can’t be reached by either clicking on the notification or on Older Messages.

I don’t think it would be possible to have a truly large city with fast running, leaping, jumping mounts and flying, not unless they have a lot of walls and barriers that mounts can’t cross. The only way maybe if the whole map was a city which would seem to be a waste of resources unless it was a PvE map and had a lot of dynamic events in it.
-
I don’t normally do pvp either but there is an unranked level of PvP that you can try. That’s where all the PvP noobs are likely to be. Get you a chance to PvP with other low ranking players to advance your PvP track and learn how to PvP.

That should be interesting at World Boss events with all the people who are afk until it’s time for the event to start.

It is but you can buy up the cheap items first. There are 2 sites I know of which show your wardrobe
* gw2efficiency.com
You can use filters on your wardrobe to show what you don’t have, what they cost and how they are acquired.
* [[Wardrobe Unlock Analyzer]](http://immortius.net.au/wardrobe-unlock-analyser/#browse)
This is also very useful. You’ll need to get an API code which you can get from gw2efficiency.
I used these sites and bought all the karma items and all the cheap items below a certain gold price. It costs a bit to do that but once it’s done you’ll be getting higher value items from your wardrobe unlocks.

I doubt they actually delete accounts. If you no longer want it and want to make sure you don’t come back then delete all your characters and change the password to something long and random then uninstall.

Sure, you can plan ahead and buy gems ahead, like some of us did, but how many do? How many know it's coming? How many even look here, ever? Just sayin a "sale" aint always a deal for everyone so it pays to do the math. An in game upcoming sale system message might be helpful to players.
The notifications when there is an upcoming sale is on the second page of the login screen. There is no need for intrusive ingame messages suggesting you buy from the gems store. Perhaps you say that you don’t read it. Well if you don’t read that will you actually read an ingame message about the gemstore when you’re trying to play.

I wonder if they could code the game to remember outfit colors on the client side like (presumably) ranger pet names are remembered.

If it’s not possible to block junk drops then maybe ANet could have a “sell junk” option on your UI that doesn’t require interaction with a vendor. That way you could sell junk anywhere and anytime no matter where you are. The game just takes the junk and gives you the copper/silvers.

By carefully manipulating some of the broken pieces back into place, they are able to cause the gate to activate for a short time so they can escape through it. Except...the gate keeps shorting out and connecting to random other gates, showing images of where it connects: "…a grassy plain where wild horses ran…
Unless there are Asura gates on other worlds that they’re connecting to then they saw horses in Tyria.

You do get all the benefits that they provide.
However this discussion is about non Mount owners getting a benefit, either rental mounts or the Swiftness NPCs added to core maps. Discussing boosts for Mounts is a topic that should have its own thread and is off topic for this thread.

Raptor only, that map only, and it costs one gold.

I like this idea better, Swiftness while on a map. Gives the player the main benefit of owning a raptor without letting them ride around on mounts from an expansion they haven’t bought yet.

If the player has to go back to the npc after a dismount to get (and pay for) another mount then how much will they be used? The players can’t stop to harvest or do an event without having to pay to waypoint back and pay the npc again to get the rental mount back. Probably their main/only use will be a run thru a map to unlock waypoints and get poi’s because I can’t see players repeatedly going back to the npc during normal play thru. If they do have rental mounts then unless they are on a timer or get a gadget that allows unlimited use on that map until they leave the map then I don’t think rental mounts will be used much.

A bunch of items are leaving the gemstore today which usually happens because they’re making room for replacements tomorrow.

The Unstable Fractal Essences, it says you get them by doing these fractals.
> 40 from completing Nightmare Fractal, Shattered Observatory Fractal, or Sunqua Peak Fractal with challenge mode active.
