  1. Imho the orbs are meant for extra bang in metas where a LOT will be dropping. And its so satisfying to blam down mobs with the huge amount of damage the beams is able to put out. Plus that r4 on the masteries removes the need to target the correct mob. But if you do, it adds aoe damage ontop.

The state of other skins is a bit irrelevant to my suggestion as I am not referring to visual overhauls but instead the unique mechanic that only Eternity has.

I own eternity. Like Sharur it flips skins depending on day/night

As mentioned Eternity is the most expensive Legendary and does have this unique changing appearance mechanic which no other weapon has. I am not asking for any visual overhauls/updates, just a simple option to choose from the existing visual styles.

    Not entirely correct.

Nothing will fix this weapon for PVe short of a complete rework of the health leeching concept (i.e. removal) ... or for it to be broken entirely with straight up DPS increases of 10-20%.

In the game as it is, I could see it become "viable" just with the introduction of a trait that would grant the necromancer an amount of barrier equal to the amount of LF gained from weapon skills (Obviously it would need to be in a shroudless e-spec akin to the scourge).

I think it could work better with the Soul Eater style. The trait gives a noticeable increase in sustain for a reaper. Heal for 5% of damage dealt.

Wait, two in a row? You certain of that?

    > Not really. That's the problem with espec being different mechanically but not functionally. Reaper, when got introduced, practically replaced core in everything PvE, leaving only some PvP uses left (although it was in general better there as well). Some of those functions were lost by Reaper later, but ony because they were taken over by Scourge, which completed the delegation of core to the subpar status.

    > The only way especs can be made what they were initially supposed to be is not through class mechanic tradeoffs, but through clear segregation of roles between core and especs.

Reaper is melee, core is not.

I've cleared all map mastery points, but as of right now I'm about 35 points short of what I'll need in total. I do seem to be missing a lot of points from the LS3 quests, but those kicked my kitten the first time. lol. Not sure how much more success I'll have at snagging the missing points if I run it again, but that may be something I have to chip away at slowly.

If you have the whole ls3 set, theres more than enough. Im sitting on about 20 hot mastery points left over with every thing maxed. Even the small raid line.
