Focus 4 is ok for burst LF when youve axe up. But Focus 5 have its uses to boonstrip in fractals. Though I consider it unreliable as you kinda do not want to weaponswap for boonstrip alone. Corrupt Boon is far more useful in that regard and not locked behind a weaponswap.

Warhorn 4 is CC and Warhorn 5 is a speed bonus. But yeah, 5 does so little damage now that you have no discernible reason to ever cast it in combat anymore.

But I agree, I have a dagger offhand, Ive never had any reason to use it.

Soul Eater is what I use in PvE, amazing sustain even if it doesnt work in shroud anymore, and makes it much easier to solo champions. But from what I recall it was because of shroud 4 that became an insane self heal move thanks to Soul eater.

Though they really need to give some love to main hand dagger. It should be a worthwhile alternative to GS if you think its too slow.

I should however note that herald shield is -really- bad and poorly designed. You do not want to use it.

Ive ocassionally played fractals myself, level 100. But looking at whats needed for augmentations, yeah no. Hard pass. Ive better things to do with my time.

Yes, necro only have the shroud. When that is gone you are a sitting duck.

Op, you mean -mythic- weapons. Mystic weapons is a crafted set.

The astralaria and exordium footfalls vanishes super fast compared to Eternity.

No more should be locked behind raids.

And people is still going on with the fallacy of P2W. You dont buy anything that gives you an advantage in competitive play.

Well said, well said. Infact theres so many clones around with the same few legendaries that they are become quite mundane and -not- at all special. The op still is completely misstating what P2W is. You gain no advantage, and infact you are just copying everyone else.

Ive collected every heropoint ingame, and unlocked both elites. And Im sitting on 404 spare heropoints.

OP, I think you dont know what pay-to-win is. Its buying an -advantage- over others. Cosmetics give zero advantage. The only benefit of legendaries is easier build swapping, but thats it.

And theres plenty of pretty looking items from raiding. But they do not give an advantage. You could craft the same level of gear with ease outside of raiding.

The flat gearcurve of Gw2 means that its -quite- easy to max out.

They already have a ranged attack focus, core.

Rangers is not an archer alone. Their archetype uses both melee and range.

Mesmers used to be the undisputed king of fractals and raids. But theyve increasingly been hacked down to size, while guardians got overbuffed. Doing way too much with their firebrand kit.

I just wish that Core necro had a purpose and use in PvE, I like the different shroud. But its simply too underpowered. Whereas the Core only for several other especs is still useful.

Played both. Scourge takes far too much effort to play compared to Reaper. Which I am doing a lot better with. Plus also far more survivable with almost no ramp up time compared to Scourge.
