There is never a shortage of boons, especially not with Concentration in the game. Boons shouldn't be available all the time and not running for 60s and not all classes should have full access to it, like not all classes have boon corrupts or teleports or stealth.

Sounds like you are aiming to make boon corrupts stronger. Why not go all out then? Taking a page from necro focus5, Boon corrupts deals significant damage as well IF you have boons on you.

  2. Yeh, concentration was a terribly bad idea. And I remember when Leadership runes from Dragons Stand was all the rage. But one can hope Anet is doing something about it with the upcomming competitive update on the horizon. But Im sure there will be QQ from those whom gets de-booned.

Though I think dedicated boonbots such as Heralds or Chronomancers is probably those whom would suffer the most, and deservedly so to clean up this mess. But as usual, I expect anet wont skill split such a massive update between pve and competitive.

    > > Shrouded removal was already a decent trait for an adept in death magic before the rework ideally nothing changed much about it aside from the carapace stack mechanic. Traits that just work like that are fine its the traits like Soul comp, and Beyond the Veil that kind of initally dont do anything that bother me. Aslo how the system very much pushes people to C.Fervor and kind of forcing at least a hybrid or full condition build to make it work with C,Fervor.

    > and I think corruptor's fervor actually kinda sucks, since it's so unreliable. it won't help you out at all if you're on the losing end of a fight. seems like it just helps you win harder when already winning. But even more than that, the fact that the protection doesn't kick in when you hit the stack requirement makes it feel really lackluster. You can reach the required stacks, but if they fall off after 2 seconds, you end up with nothing to show for it

I think you are missing what Corrupter's fervor does. It helps you stacking Carapace fast and keeping you above 25 carapace. Where it pulses protection on you, which is -33% damage. And combine it with bitter chill in Spite that adds vulnerability every time you chill, which means even more conditions to bump up carapace gain.

I dont think you properly read the fractal instabilities. The one of them that makes the fractals blend together will spawn random mobs from other fractals inside it.

  5. Its a waste of dev resources to exclusively cater to the rare few people doing doing raids or cm fractals. Blizzard for example stated that Looking for Raid difficulty ensured a lot more people got to see the content. The alternative would be no more raids, as the raid development resources was getting difficult to justify.

    > Possibly. Last time we had nerfs this heavy handed (Condi reaper) the scourge was over the horizons. I'll choose my delusional and believe they're working on new elite specs. *cries in denial*

But Im kind of wondering, if neither Reaper or Scourge is allowed to have viable condispecs, could a hypotetical third espec be condi oriented from the beginning?

I think Reaper lost viable condi because it proved too difficult to balance together with a power spec. Also because of promoting the scourge as condi master.

And in scourge they crammed far too much into the package. Scourges was gods at the beginning of Pof. now only pale shadows of what they once were.
