Hrm, sounds like map specific masteries.
-
Not terribly entused by this one. Felt rather lacking in interesting highlights. Pretty much only the masteries seemed promising. Elsewise the rest of it was fairly forgettable. Past trailers for ls4 beats this one by miles. Far more highlights of interesting stuff to build excitement, almost nothing of the sort here.

One thing I agree with many is that those minions suck ... I don't know What the devs were thinking when they designed those minions, specially that flying black speck, is that supposed to be what? .... So many people has said the same, Necro minions suck real bad in this game... Come on Anet make some changes, you can even sell skin packs and make money out and fix your terrible design...
Minions is fine for solo pve. Thats where they shine and lets you solo many champions. But they are worthless in any group content. I think Anet didnt want a repeat of gw1 where a single minionmaster could make any of the group instances completely faceroll.

I am curious, dont you get more applications of effects with having 2-3 shades out at once? Or even the sand savant?

Housing is a waste of dev time, and should not be implemented. Give us an expansion with proper content and no Sim Guild Wars.
-
not to forget an extra seed plot in the home instance

Never could get into the raptor, it just doesnt have enough juice unlike the jackal. And the raptor struggles on uphill terrain.

Having a skyscale makes volatile magic collection a breeze. Theres a ton of VM trails in Thunderhead Peaks, that the Skyscale is simply sublime at going all pacman on.

Ah, I thought it would need it to fit.

Does it even compare to Close to Death for dps?

What is the oppinion on the passive for pve? With or without signets of suffering.
-
Signet of Undeath: Reduced recharge to 75 seconds in all game modes. Reduced cast time from 3 seconds to 1.5 seconds. Reduced number of allies revived from 3 to 1. Added additional health cost of 50% of base health to this skill. Increased passive lifeforce gain by 100%.
https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/91782/upcoming-changes-to-fall-damage-and-revival/p1
Signet of Undeath currently gives 2% lifeforce per 3 seconds.
This change increases it by 100% up to 4% per 3 seconds.
When traited with Signets of Suffering you get 6% per 3 seconds which is a 100% increase from the previous 3% per 3 seconds.
As nice a lifeforce gain increase it is. Signets of Suffering is unfortunately competing with Close to Death for pve. Which seems to make it a non starter to even think about?

I see absolutely no reason to participiate in such worthless content.

Mere speculation since gen2 is done.

I expect the new ls5 masteries will be unveiled. Maybe or maybe not gen3 legendaries.
I doubt there will be any new mounts, we got enough already.

Wasnt hard to finish the meta each for the map in a few days after release.. Id imagine its only grindy if you try to finish every single ach, which personally isnt worth my time.

Twas a bug, not a feature
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue in which the revenant's legend-swap cooldown was shorter than expected when out of combat.

> Prior to yesterday, when I entered WvW, I had to do zero clicks. Yesterday, I had to do three (hero panel, select build tab, select build). While that is relatively mild as far as annoyances go, it's still a downgrade for me. My PvE build switching almost never involves more than changing weapons (in which case, my experience may involve another click now) or a skill (likewise). For my play style, I have not seen any increased QoL beyond a few bag slots on characters who carried condi or power armor/weapons. I don't have enough trinkets to let a full set languish in a seldom-used build slot on one character. If I wanted to switch from condi to power before, I had to take the appropriate trinkets off a character I was not using right now. I still have to do that.
>
> I will grant that for players who exclusively (or at least mostly) play either PvE or WvW, who did not have multiple legendary gear pieces and who still carried multiple gear sets, this patch may have been an upgrade. However, it was not a boon to "anyone not using third party addons" as was claimed.
>
> As to the thread topic, I am disinclined to pay games that make my game experience worse to sell me something to mitigate the annoyance. What I find ironic is that my annoyance with yesterday's patch would not be mitigated by buying more "templates." Thus, I have not voted.
I stand by my point, its so easy to switch builds now. Where it previously was a tedious affair. Especially if having to change underwater builds as well. So no, the new templates is a godsend compared to what we had before.

This patch is a boon to anyone not using third party addons.

No, not at all.

Minionmaster is fine for open world, which is where it shines.

Not sure what you are doing wrong, both goes through for me.
pressed 6 to cast bloodfiend, hit 7 summon bone fiend before the channel for 6 finished. Both completed.
-
you have to cast them one by one. you are not meant to hit them all at once, no skills functions like that.

Like other mounts having their place, warclaw is meant for wvw
Theoretical third expansion: new movement method, or just more mounts?

The only mount that would make sense now, without dilluting the others is an underwater mount.
