  1. If you hold an ascended seed pouch and accidentally weapon sap, then its lost and forcing you to recraft it.

Futhermore its extremely easy to accidentally target a plot you already have filled and removing the herb if you are not incredibly careful with targetting it. Even then Ive found that the targetting can be wonky. Usually not a problem with standard herbs, but it really burns with ascended herbs since you have to replant them daily. Ascended herbs really could benefit from a yes/no removal prompt unlike standard seeds.

    > 1) Thinking maxing 500 was best i quickly got to 468 and stopped cause i didn't see a clear path of getting to 500 easily. I went back and looked at that gourmet cheevo (which you can't read the last steps to because it's locked, so you don't know that each of the 5 tiers gives you an additional "10 chef progress points" until you've unlocked the full row.) :( which means STOP @ 450!, but oh it doesn't tell you that. (i got to 450 and nothing extra was unlocked- no new recipies to climb higher) So i thought maybe a little higher :(

    >

    > 2) i'm at 494 currently and all i see that's new are basically the consumables... which apparently you need a gemstore purchase of a "Garden Plot" to use?!?!? what! No other professions to 500 require you to use gemstore items to craft things. This feels **scammy** . It would be more helpful to understand if garden plot is necessary, to have red text warning people that the garden plot purchase is necessary to craft these consumable items. (i mean i assume garden plot because i have no "garden"???) or also mention it at 400 warning people you need to purchase a garden plot from gemstore to craft 500 food. ( don' t know for a fact that's true yet though, well c in 18mins.)

    >

    > 3) i assume/ hope at 500 "Ascended food" I will be able craft and won't require mats from the garden plots. Otherwise this has just been a waste of my ascended mats --> spirit planks, deldrimore steel- MY MUHNEEE! on something i won't be able to use!!! >:(

Havent you noticed that you get a garden plot for finishing the Sylvarri line?

Wow does it, to make mounts seem properly sized to the rider. Tauren for example have BIg mounts to account for their massive size.

  4. Not remotely considerable any more. Cant crit. Pretty much only used for swiftness and a daze option with wh4.

Personally i lean to focus4, as it reliably gives more lifeforce, even if focus5 is unusable in pve.

    >

    > You just don't make a 36h countdown to say "_here is the announcement that could be simply written down on a blog post, also buy our overpriced merch from our partners, thanks for the support_".

    >

    > Maybe they want to surprise us? Cool, but Anet doesn't know how to read the air; or at least how to beyond they most dedicated fanboys, that were so excited (or they were told to be), at every single god kitten thing. They could let slide more during the event. They could tease us more with content we were looking for. That way, they would spark hope that Anet is working up for their mistakes in the past.

    >

    > Now, people will stop giving a single f*ck about such big events and announcements, if they didn't already. I, cerainly, will, depsite defending Anet for the past 4 years, and ignoring all the voices around, that were telling me, Anet doesn't respect their players as much as they should.

Well said, you truly understand why a lot of people are upset with Anet.

Again, ArenaNet only had to open their eyes and look at the forums or reddit on any given day in the past month and they would have seen them (and again, had the chance to react to and temper expectations).

    >

    > I would say strikes, a new map, more deeper lore, pvp tournaments, and wvw alliances are all pretty good features that go beyond a typical LS chapter. We can keep going if you want to. But essentially saying "well these chapters gaves us a mount so we should have gotten more." while ignoring that you in fact did get more shows you really don't have an argument.

And you are just proving what I am saying. That LS5 is having features not expected of a living season. But is it something to truly garner excitement aka what we had gotten with HoT and Pof? No, not at all. I restate, we are at the end of season 4, and players -rightfully- expected there would be something meaty to tide them over to the end of LS5.

All of you are ignoring the fact that the playerbase took the hype generated and overhyped it even more thinking this would be an expansion announcement. Which means very few people complaining have any common sense. We were told an expansion was not planned. We were told that the next living story is what is planned. The email literally says tune in to learn about the next chapter of the living story.

    >

    > Your first point is again your fault as a community for thinking that. Not once has a living story chapter given us new elite specs or anything expansion worthy. Other than the mount in the last chapter.

    >

    > Did they overhype it though? The email literally states "Tune in to learn more about the next living story chapter."

You still havent grasped what I am saying. Why should Anet be slavishly locked to the previous format of the Living Story seasons? Players got hyped for GOOD reason due to the overblown hype, and thoughts that there might be more than just a copy of previous LS seasons. Its squarely Anet's fault.

I never said it would be an expansion, nor did I expect it.

1: We did not get an expansion at the end at LS4, leading many to think that LS5 might offer more expansion like content to keep people interested. Such as new especs.

2: Especially when Anet overhyped it badly, making people think the reveal would be BIG!

Yet we got just served with more of the same.

Again, Anet is solely at fault here for mishandling it and creating false expectations.

Given that heralds dual wields swords, you can wield two lightning sticks with transmutation.

    >

    > The level of features announced today is basically what I was expecting.

You dont get it. The big event, the reveal countdown teaser. The lack of an expack. It led people rightfully to believe that ls5 would be a departure from the usual LS from the past.
