  1. pug squads are worthless anyways on most servers. they act like they're a squad but will cloud at first sign of conflict. if they actually push and lose, the commander will most times worry about losing numbers due to morale so he might try a few more times then hug siege and defend. at which point its pointless to attack so they're ignored, at which point an agreement has been made to ignore each other and ktrain.

    i'm worried if anet solely balanced for the top 100 or whatever, that builds would arise where a players skill exponentially raises the skill ceiling of that build compared to a regular build. maybe its just a kneejerk reaction tho.

    balance is bad and people are leaving cuz of it, but this is generally true of human nature in video games.

  4. i don't think people understand what they're saying when they say anet should balance for the top 100 players. if anet did that, the top 100 would create the most borkenested of all builds and not even a full team (if all goldies) could stop them. balance for g3/ p1 and let players own skill take them higher.

  6. dodge mes scepter 3 and as many bursts as you can. their bursts counter melee, so kite when they have a bunch of illusions. killing the illusions is the best option but don't go out of your way to do it, aoes are best. don't use skills when you have lots of confusion and don't move when you have lots of torment. seriously just stand still if the duration is short, they can't kill you with auto attacks. they have a port so save yours or a leap so you can stick to them. they will have 1-2 invis so use big aoes when they do. don't go out of your way to pressure if they are really mobile like mirage, make them engage you. use your cleanses only after a big condi burst hits you. mes as a class is weird cuz it gets more offensive power the more its engaged. gl.

    Bulwark Gyro: Reduced base barrier pulse from 726 to 508 in PvP only.

    Soothing Detonation: Fixed a bug in which this trait would incorrectly trigger if a tool-belt skill was interrupted.

    Detection Pulse: Fixed a bug in which this skill would reveal enemies with aegis. Fixed a bug in which this skill would not reveal downed enemies.

    Guardian

    Dragon's Maw: Fixed a bug in which the trap would be created at the incorrect location if the guardian moved during the arming time.

    Necromancer

    Lich Form: Fixed a bug in which this skill would go on full cooldown if interrupted after a certain point during the casting time.

    Ranger

    Counterattack Kick: Reduced knockback distance from 300 to 100 in PvP only.

    Glyph of the Tides: Increased cooldown from 20 seconds to 35 seconds in PvP only.

    Revenant

    Vindication: Reduced might duration from 3 seconds to 1 second in PvP only.

    Heroic Command: Reduced might stacks granted per stack of Kalla's Fervor from 2 to 1 in PvP only.

    Warrior

    Full Counter: Reduced daze duration from 2 seconds to 1 second in PvP only.

    Call of Valor: Reduced base barrier from 2,580 to 2,064 in PvP only. Reduced heal scaling from 1.0 to 0.5 in PvP only.

    Vigorous Shouts: Reduced heal scaling from 0.64 to 0.5 in PvP only.

    Banner Skills: Fixed a bug in which a banner could be picked up multiple times, resulting in a larger cooldown reduction than intended.

    Structured Player vs. Player

    Rune of Speed: Reduced the movement speed bonus while under the effect of swiftness from 66% to 50%.

    Rune of Resistance: Increased internal cooldown from 20 seconds to 45 seconds.

    Necromancer

    Death Nova: Reduced the power coefficient of the Poison Nova explosion from 0.75 to 0.6 in PvP only.

    Putrid Explosion: Reduced the power coefficient from 1.0 to 0.8 in PvP only.

    the only skills you mentioned that are worth talking about are vault and gun flame. while both are low cd they both have very obvious animations. showing their coefficients is pretty funny when you take into account that they are similar to lich form but like i've mentioned repeatedly lich form is doing that on an auto attack. why do you think its ok to take away half of someones health with a 1200 range auto attack? i mentioned quickness before, but if reaper they also have that shout which gives them up to i think its 10 uses of unblockable hits, which negates most of the counter play. everything you mentioned has counter play, lich form has significantly less. the cd is IRRELEVANT when you consider it can delete a team in pvp. every other team fight, if they can't counter it (and like i said there are ways to ensure this, having a half competent support on your team is another chuck of counter play gone) then the other team wipes and the match is snowballed. how is that ok? why is lich form granted immunity to the megapatch where most everything else similar in nature was nerfed in damage?
