Just go spvp now and away from zergs and have fun there!
  2. @"anduriell.6280" I feel like you don’t understand this profession at all.
  3. @"uberkingkong.8041" Maybe you should try spvp? You might love it because no zergs. What do you think? Oh, and did you watch the video I posted where the devs explain wvw?
  4. @"uberkingkong.8041" Welcome to WvW!
  5. Please gain a better understanding of Druid and Soulbeast. http://dulfy.net/2015/09/25/gw2-druid-ranger-elite-specialization-livestream-reveal/ Druid’s main function was to bring support. Soulbeast’s main function was to bring a strong condition melee spec to the table. The mere fact that Soulbeast functions better as a power spec tell you that it’s condition side, daggers, and such need work. You don’t care that the Druid is lagging behind to fill the role of support. You don’t care that you can’t take a condition build into a wvw group. You only care to keep Soulbeast a power spec that also becomes a better support spec than what Druid was designed for... Even though Soulbeast wasn’t designed to be another heavy team support spec... You want to focus on making a better pew pew power Longbow/Greatsword with super utility support for zergs, while ignoring all the fundamental design issues that keep Druid support and condition builds weak... No thanks.

Greetings! Well, that’s up to you! Obviously if you have a bunch of detailed information to pass on then use the email reporting. If not, then just report as botting in-game as you did. Regardless of which way you report, the devs said they don’t want players to post on the forums about this stuff. Just report in the ways they are asking for and that’s it. Have a great one!

People cheat. Human nature. Report in-game and email support with specifics. Forums won’t help in these cases. Anet doesn’t want this stuff posted on the forums. https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010187753-Reporting-a-Player-or-Guild https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Reporting “Exploits are misuses of bugs or features in a way that allows players to gain an unfair gameplay advantage over other players. Hacking refers to using altered game clients or third-party programs for such purposes. This includes misuses that allow a player to generate in-game benefits without the risk or time expected by the game's designers. Exploiting and hacking are serious violations of the Rules of Conduct. Information regarding exploits or hacks should not be posted or advertised in a public location, including the Guild Wars 2 forums. Doing so is a violation of the Rules of Conduct. Instead, the following channels should be used to report exploits: Players found to be exploiting should be reported using the in-game Player Conduct Report tool. While exploiting, cheating, and hacking are not available reasons in the tool, the Support Team has indicated that "Botting" is the correct choice to use. For general reports, use the in-game Bug Report tool, which can be accessed by typing /bug into chat or by opening the game menu and selecting "Support". This will send the information to QA. You can also submit a Support Ticket; select the dropdown options for "Game Support" and "Report an In-Game Bug". There is an option to "submit your ticket anonymously" for additional privacy. This option does not require you to log into your ArenaNet account.”
  8. @"Stand The Wall.6987" Are you saying it’s impossible to know what the devs put in the game in 2015 and 2017?
  9. @"anduriell.6280" "I would like to see where Anet has stated "it’s main design function was supposed to be a condition melee spec"." https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Soulbeast https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dagger_Proficiency_(soulbeast) "You can wield a dagger in your main hand." https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Predator%27s_Cunning "When you apply poison to a foe, steal some health from them." https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Twice_as_Vicious "Disabling a foe increases your damage and condition damage for a short duration." https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Oppressive_Superiority "Deal increased damage to foes at a lower health percentage than you. Conditions you apply to foes at a lower health percentage than you last longer." Under related trait... https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ambidexterity "Gain condition damage. Gain additional condition damage while wielding a torch or dagger. Torch and dagger skills recharge faster." https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Groundwork_Gouge https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Leading_Swipe https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Serpent_Stab https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Deadly_Delivery https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Double_Arc https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Instinctive_Engage https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Superior_Rune_of_the_Soulbeast https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Soulbeast_Pads https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Soulbeast%27s_Dagger https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Fang_of_Mok%C3%A8l%C3%A9 And the support skills are there to help prevent it from getting squashed in seconds in melee, and add a lil extra to teams so they aren't completely useless. ... You don't want to fix SB, you want to make a super support/lb pew pew for wvw. No thanks.

The main function of a Soulbeast isn't to be a strong team support. > > changing this one trait isn't going to change the fact that overall soulbeast isn't a team support. viability over aethetics anyway. also, you make tons of threads about how to improve classes, then someone asks for a relatively minor change and you're against it. seems hypocritical to me. Do you understand the intended design differences between a Druid and Soulbeast? If so, what are they?
  11. @"anduriell.6280" Is what Irenio said a “biased opinion” too? > @"Swagger.1459" said: > And please become more familiar with what Druid was designed for... > > > > “Bringing heavy healing to GW2, unlike anything you have seen before. Strong support, very powerful in upcoming raids and WvW. Can sustain a zerg train of 20-30 players in WvW.” > Should we also change deadeye rifle skills to 1200/1500 range 5 target AoEs and utility skills for super team support?
  12. @"anduriell.6280" Just stating facts. You want SB to be a super support spec. That's what Druid's design function was/is. SB was released with a dagger and leaned more toward a condi melee spec with pet absorption for extra flare, extra function, and because players asked for such a merging with pets design to tackle the pet issues that were never addressed. Oh, I have provided a lot of feedback for Ranger, Druid and SB... Ty for asking about it!

The main function of a Soulbeast isn't to be a strong team support.

Because the main function of Soulbeast isn’t to be a strong team support.
  15. And please become more familiar with what Druid was designed for... “Bringing heavy healing to GW2, unlike anything you have seen before. Strong support, very powerful in upcoming raids and WvW. Can sustain a zerg train of 20-30 players in WvW.”
  16. 1- There are far better team choices in wvw than any Ranger build. 2- We all know that teams carry certain specs, as evidence of the video. 3- For the manyith time, DRUID is supposed to be the support spec. Please stop trying to change Soulbeast into a support spec. Especially since it’s main design function was supposed to be a condition melee spec, but that design is still gosh awful outside of fighting scripted things in pve land.

  22. I did read all 4 threads and the community tried to give you support and advice... https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/107934/running-antitoxin-rune-still-being-unable-to-do-anything-vs-immob-ranger-druid https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/104273/roaming-condi-builds-forcing-us-to-sacrifice-crucial-build-elements-for-cleanse-uptime https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/103025/wvw-binded-once-every-6-seconds-immobed-every-2-seconds-without-binds-not-ok And I'm pretty decent at reading between the lines... “I shouldn't have to re-spec” "I don't want to be boxed into running all this anti-condi stuff when there are so many other options in the game.” “I'd like to try not to sacrifice one of my favourite things about this game just so that I can avoid the nuisance of a couple niche builds” “This brings me to the same issue I have with the condi meta. I don't want to be boxed into running one rune/setup just because one or two builds are ridiculous, and running this to counter them puts me at a competitive disadvantage vs every other build in the game where I'd benefit more from other runes.” And those are just a few... You are not open to advice. You are not willing to change. You want the game to change for you, even though the options exist already. And no, the game wasn't designed to have 1 super "I can beat everyone 90% of the time" build to counter anything that crosses your path. This is also wvw. This isn't a dueling mode. You aren't going to convince the devs to change professions in this game for duels, especially in the wvw section. And I highly doubt the devs will change something because players aren't willing to make adjustments to their builds using the "stuff" they already put in game for players to use.
  23. “I shouldn't have to re-spec every time I run into a druid in WvW” and "It's not unwillingness to adapt my dude" but "I shouldn't have to re-spec" ...You want your 1 build to do everything, but that's not how it works. And any competitive minded player would do their own math, not ask the the devs to do the math for them. And we have all discussed this same stuff in the previous 3 threads you posted. You are unwilling to change or learn from the encounter, and that's the real problem here.
