The real problem in community isn’t hackers

Recommended Posts

yes the streamer with 25 viewers vs the hacker who ques all day and potentially screws over 100's+ others rankings is the real problem. it would be different if we had actual bans for these players, if so this thread wouldn't exist...

it's not so much that there are hackers , it's the lack of action people are upset about. they clearly don't have the manpower or resources to monitor such circumstances.

the difference between the 2 is that you can just turn the stream off and you suffer no penalty and you can still enjoy the game because those are opinions.

also, you act like these streamers are pulling asmongold numbers and actually making a shake in the gw2 community lmao ... you would have a point if it was teapot but he doesn't say shit like that so your assessment is just wrong entirely.

It is a problem when their discord has constant communication with mods in game, some of us are happy management decided to minimize out side interactions with these 3rd party groups.

Well association with said groups isn't inherently a bad thing, however with the current climate we do have and the current available roster of content creators for this game...it isn't like they have a great many choices or opportunities. I also don't think it would even be a good idea to associate directly with certain content creators for this game considering multiple factors like their behavior, attitudes, and their actions in the game itself.
