decapitate does more damage then tier 3 eviscerate in pvp

Because you have to get into Berserker Mode in order to access it? And because Berserker Mode gives you penalties to survivability in exchange for more damage?

 

Seems pretty self-explanatory. It would be weird if it **didn't** do more damage.

 

Also, the baseline damage is exactly the same between those 2 skills. It's only damage modifiers from the traits that make decapitate do more.

Reaper vs. berserker is a pretty balanced matchup. Most berserker players suck like most core ranger players suck. So like core ranger the berserker spec has a lot of potential, but this is rare to witness.

 

A reaper with competitive damage can be stunlocked out of shroud by any warrior spec. A reaper that focusses on sustain can be kited out of shroud by any warrior spec without having to worry to eat hardhitting axe focus attacks after turning their back to the reaper (as these hit like wet noodles on sustain builds).

and in grand scheme of things this doesnt mean anything since berserker gets instagibbed in fights while reaper is tanky boi while realistically dealing same damage.

dont forget the fact that berserker is the only that has to engage into reaper, since reaper can just pressure him from range.

Not actually true berserker deals way more damage then reaper, but the thing is warrior can't handle the chip damage from multiple sources cause arenanet fucked around too much with warrior sustain. Also reaper is not really that tanky it just that it can handle the random bullshit damage that is spammed around with the fake hp and it just has to focus on the big hits. Warrior on other hand has to worry about all of the different damage sources, the only build that works in teamfights is Healbreaker cause it has fake necro shroud by getting barrier as bonus hp. And Reaper can't range out warrior at all if for some reason it is 1v1 the reaper will be taking a break in the spawn point. Both of the specks are face tankers, necro requires targets to gain life force so it can cover its HP and warrior relied on regeneration but it got nerfed to irrelevance so now warrior has barely any mechanics to deal with attacks from multiple opponents.
