That is also why im kinda pissy about the Saga reward tracks since they are kinda crappy compared to the ones that came before.

That is the issues, ele is in the same spot as warrior, the support build can hold side nodes long enough for help while also having impact on the skirmishes, some of the sidenoders have also high impact in skirmish at mid the condi bunker herald(which i don't get why it isn't played considering burn DH), scrappers, rangers and mesmers(even though they fall to the roamer position but can be quite effective at sidenodes). The duelist sidenode builds just don't have place in the game when the multipurpose builds can do their job. They build Warrior to be THE DUELIST but they kept chipping away from its power so it doesn't do well at the position they designed it for this would be fine if it had some space to work as a roamer or teamfighter but it doeasn't have the skills or traits to work there. My problem is that don't have much to work with on build craft with warrior even though I enjoy that basic core play design of it.

HP of the roots should be reduced by 33% (any summoned clutter actually needs the nerf bat) and the reapplication needs some work since cleansing and being rooted again by the same skill is dumb. Also yes I play this monkey ass build for the lolz, it is not busted as burn DH but I can cause someone permanent annoyance if I so choose.

Anet is just adjusting numbers for PvP, but the mechanics of the skills are supposed to be the same across all game modes. Removing daze from full counter in PvP would result to the CC being removed for all game modes. Yep the whole point of the skill is to punish, the whole idea the speck revolves around is that it can push and pull a fight by timing a punishing skill named FULL COUNTER. At first it had big damage and low daze, it fulfilled its purpose but people died to easily to it, then they started nerfing the damage and at some point it was like 100 damage with half a second daze and didn't really do its job as FULL COUNTER, so they gave it 2 seconds of daze with no damage and by doing that they kept the identity of the skill, but now they nerfed that too so its glorified dodge or semi invuln skill, and this is supposed to be the bread and butter for the SB. The argument that it does too much is also stupid since it just one skill warrior doesn't have much skills to work with does it. But if they don't like how it works they should rework it mechanically at this point, to suit their RP idea about it. I don't understand how they can't fucking manage their simplest concepts that is the warrior, telegraphed attacks that do damage or cc. Berserker is garbage, spellbreaker is relegated to a support role. They should fucking leave the idea that the community should decide how something works and balance around it, ffs just give the specks strong identity and roll with it and balance around that idea.

Currently nothing can burst harder then Burn DH, not even power builds and it does it while it can go invisible and in AOE with generally defensive amulet, it came about from PVE buffs to mechanical burn application to core traits so FB can do dps. So since its guardian and not necro it can't be easily focused cause it burns your ass off if you dont have condition cleansing support and you know guard blocks and stuff. So yeah PoF changes suck.

  13. Strikes and DRMs are a fine concept of reusing story encounters as repayable content, witch is really lacking in the game for some reason. They really need to focus on how to bring content to the game in a way that is not one and done like the old story progression. Having the normal story and then encounter shared between solo story mode, raids, dungeons, strikes,fractals, drms or whatever will be a fine way to save dev time. I still don't understand why they separated everything in its own little universe instead of delivering packed experience for everyone instead of people getting group content once in 2 years.

My personal gripe with the Matchmaker is that it gives me shitty unenjoyable games, for some reason it threats me like im the king monkey and i am equal to 4 monkeys, so i get at least 2 to 3 monkeys in my team, just because I played the game for a long time . The game expects me to solo the match and win alone, all the while the game is clearly made to not be able to do so.

The starting missions should probably be reworked as tutorials, dodge, jump, fight, breakebars, combo fields , stats, weapons ,skills all that and then it should plop you into the world is on fire mission. They should probably remove the story per level thing and let you fail when you get too high, also it should bump up the difficulty. They did themselves disservice by trying to pander to the inept people , people will not learn if they do not fail. Also I know they like to leave people to do their own thing but the people get bored and the thing they like to do is leave so Arenanet should try to force people to do some stuff . They are in a sore need of new new player experience since the old new player experience is 6 years old and it is also garbage for todays standards . They have to make Really good first impression, the first mission is cinematic but gameplay wise is boring, this is not TV series the gameplay should entertain the people from the start.

Well DH was power build but it does condi now, spellbreaker was supposed to duels, but heals now, druid was supposed to be healer but it is sidenoder. We live in a clown world. Anet gives off really mixed messages for a long time was the highest potential dps in PVE but it is support speck by design. Someone really should have sat down and made elite specks do one thing good and stick to that, you want to heal with ele tempest, you want to be a fighter weaver. Variety by restriction, not do everything and anything.

Since nothing can actually kill thief if played correctly and it can move faster then anything so what is the counter to that, well you have to coordinate heavily with some kind of voice software (HA) or the easier option to bunker up, but you are still susceptible to ganks , sprinkle some AoE to butter up the gankers and wait for your gank. I believe people didn't shift to this meta for a long time, cause they didn't like the idea but at the end bended since we do not get much changes to cover and hide what is broken. No one wanted to play the tune of one class, but in the end people cracked and everyone is dancing the jig, but now the class is hard countered by full teams.

It's kinda fine for PVE content which the mechanics are kinda predictable. By the way it definitely will be much lower ping, from our location to singapore we can expect 50ish. But i still wish they want to do this for the player's gaming experience I believe it is not about the server and the costs of it, I think it is more of a NCSOFT thing. NCSOFT "produces" MMOs, most of their games are marketed towards Eastern audiences and they probably decided that GW2 would cannibalize some part of their other games, since it does some things better ( Blade and soul launched about the same time as GW2, guess which IP NCSOFT likes more, one of them has anime). I don't think it matters anymore since they get most of their cash from mobile and their games are not the spry chicken they once were (this could also be the reason on why they won't do it ). They could just pop a datacenter for Asia but it would have to come with big marketing push so it is worth keeping it up. If there isn't one new Datacenter when the new Expansion comes there wouldn't be any.
  22. I'm about to say some DIRTY WORDS . GUILD WARS 1 MOBILE PORT. I know, I know its terrible word this 'mobile' but GW 1 would fit right in there and I think my phone is already passing the recommended specks for PC CPU SPEED: 2 GHz RAM: 1 GB. There is actually allot of old PC games that are cool that made it to the android store Neverwinter nights, Baldur's gate , GTA. Also for some reason these instanced pseudo MMORPGs seem to be really hip and pop these days. Arenanet wanted to be on the mobile market and for some reason they didnt port their already proven game there, shooting fish in a barrel basically.

Warrior lacks a defensive main hand weapon that would allow the use of off hands other then shield, not single main hand has a dodge on it and only the mace has some kind of terrible counter attack. Mace is really lacking and it is not fulfilling it purpose of reliable defensive main hand option. Why does warrior have so many options that don't do anything ?

Yeah allot of games suffer from hacks and bots currently, it got a big surge with the pandemic and all. Even the richest MMO producer Blizzard can't handle them, and they do have the mulla. It is kinda funny seeing the conga line of star chickens farming. This doesn't give me much hope that Arenanet would be able to manage the situation.
