Are there typically any sales for account upgrades around Christmas? I haven't seen any announced so far.

As far as I remember they usually do something in late November for Black Friday, and then January sales.

 

There's some stuff which is currently discounted, but I think the only account upgrades included are the living world home instance requisition boards.

Gem store sales have still been updating though, we've had outfits rotating in and out over the last few days and a free black lion claim ticket today, among other things.

 

I assume either gem store changes can be queued up in advance and then trigger automatically at whatever time they're set for, or one of the people who is on call to monitor stuff is also doing those changes. If it's all planned out in advance and all the prep work is done it's probably a very quick job to activate the changes.
