Yasai.3549
Yu know, if yu wanna play Chrono Condi, it's still a thing my dude. In fact, I wish that Elites would center the theme of the Espec with their Espec weapon as a focal point. So far, the only Espec which does this well is Deadeye, but only because Deadeye is basically chained to Rifle if they want to keep their ez Stealth access. Would actually like to see more Especs which bring their weapon as a unique focus like Deadeye, Daredevil and Weaver. I also disqualify any Espec which uses their Espec weapon as a NEED because their loadout options are garbage without : - Scrapper Hammer is basically the best balanced loadout accessible to Engineer - Holo Sword is also in the same boat - Renegade needs Shortbow, or they are stuck with only 1 Condi set, which is hilariously sad
draxynnic.3719
Yeah, in the case of revenant and engineer, it's because the elite specialisation weapons are filling gaps that should never have been left open in the core profession to begin with. One could argue that mirage axe is a similar principle... albeit not to the same extent as "has a melee weapon at all" or "has a ranged weapon that isn't complete garbage". Scepter and staff do fairly good jobs as condi weapons for mesmer, they just can't pile on the damage quite as hard as a DPS-dedicated melee weapon. It'd be interesting to see what would happen if necromancer got a melee condi weapon.
Noah Salazar.5430
Well despend, i wuld like to have good weapon for new elite, as engineer have only 2 main wepons, pistols and rifle (not couting shield)
