I'm actually really annoyed because I'm currently unable to download the game due to constant launcher crashes and I've gotten no response from ANET as of yet. You can check if you have it by pressing Win+R, typing "cmd" and press enter, then see if the crosses in "Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.xxxxx]" in the first line are bigger than 15063; then you have it installed already. mercury ranique.2170 Posted December 17, 2017 Share Posted December 17, 2017 Scanning through this topic I didnt see the suggestion to repair the game client: https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/201863008-Repairing-the-Game-Client  Also tell your system specs. specially the CPU and GPU. Looking at the error message, it is a reaction to a program performing an illegal action (one of the forbidden actions for example is division by zero. This would end up in an infinity loop and therefor, it is labelled an illegal action. In the lenghtier error logs, you can see that it has to do with missing or corrupt textures. So it can be something to do with corrupt game data on your computer, or with the hardware (or more specific the drivers). So repair and make sure all your drivers are up to date. Have been farming Winter Wonderland JP for a week now without issue, outside of it only the odd crash here and there which I didn't think much of. Suddenly today, I finished daily fractals without issue, get my alt to Divinity's Reach and I'm crashing everywhere. I crash at the end of the JP(before I can get my loot, because ofc), I crash dying armour in Havoc's Airship. There's been no significant changes to my system in the last week, but suddenly these crashes. Based on the errors posted, which is mostly the same as mine, this is a memory leak issue.
