Strangely enough this maps I have been on Gold is noway near close. I am not talking minutes off but I think more than 15 minutes behind the last timer. I missed the Crown Pavilion both times it was around before due to real life issues, but all i've heard ever since was how incredible farming these bosses for gold was. And I just don't get that? It doesnt scale from everybody, but it scales from anyone who is in the specific boss' arena. I tried commanding for a little while and even called my guildies to organize it but... people are just like "move to the next boss guys" and they go full zerg make the boss overscale. To be honest, I wouldn't even care if they did like, 6-7K dps but some people just stand behind with a ranged weapon and spam 1. After the 4th try I ragequit. Danikat.8537 Posted July 25, 2018 Share Posted July 25, 2018 Don't forget a lot of people are doing this for the first time ever and the festival has only been out for 2 days. A lot of people are still learning how it works. And people are so keen to get the Boss Blitz started (or just don't know what the NPC does) that they're resetting it as quickly as possible and there's barely time for groups to get organised. It was my first time commanding a boss today and at first when I told my group to stop and let the other bosses catch up I was _literally_ shouted down by a few people who wanted to kill him and move on to the next one. Then I and others explained why that would be a bad idea and we eventually got some good coordination between the groups. Unfortunately it was too late - we'd started with only 4 groups so the other 2 bosses were way behind and there wasn't time to even get silver. There weren't any massive zerg farms like there are now, I think the nearest was world bosses, or champion trains (or did those only start after the bags were added?) so at the time it was amazing. In the last Pavillion I was, me (Holosmith), a **uplevel** mesmer and a **uplevel** necro took Boom Boom Baines down to 50% in the time it took about 40 people to kill Pyroxis... And then they just pilled up in Baines, making the other 50% take much longer than it would. The ammount of people who can't pull their weight is just insane. Its not like the game promotes making you carry your own weight in open world PVE(no sarcasm here, the game doesnt do this) so im not surprised.
