The traitline. Current defence you gain from death magic, our defensive trait line , is incredible lack luster. Look at every other traitline that used to grant toughness on other classes, defense on warrior, wilderness survival in ranger, chaos on mesmer etc. Look at how they are and interact with their class. That is what death magic should be not what it is now where 1/3 of the traits are for one specific utility type,a GM presenting to be death when it's closer to blood magic and one of the only auto stun procs not to break stun or have its effects be totally wasted if someone is a little too far away from you.

since it is something that will NEVER happen but it SHOULD happen is a revert on most of the nerfs to epi, make it do the full (at max 25 stacks) condi transfer like it did, with FULL duration of the moment it was cast, make it NOT a slow ass projectile, etc etc, basically make it to what it was when it was not complicated just simple, epi and 5 enemies around the 1st target has all the same conditions and same stacks of those condis with the same duration from the moment the targets contracted the epi

75% would be a better fit imo. I mean since its not really a defensive skill like endure pain or signet of stone. It's more akin to Guardians Zealot's speed which is also 75%.
