Willowsheart.7940
Has this been cancelled? They (Anet) are not streaming anything right now. Can we get a word from anet on this?

Psycoprophet.8107
Given the lay off announcement I doubt stream will be happening tho if lay off announcement is solely regarding other side projects etc and not effecting gw team not sure why, but it’s a pretty good reason to postpone. Willowsheart.7940
I would understand if they needed to postpone of course. Just was hoping to see a note or something so folks are not all waiting.
Killerassel.2197
While I can perfectly understand that a live stream is not Anet's first priority right now, in lights of the layoffs, I still think at least there should have been a post or tweet that the stream is cancelled. Though showing normality by having the stream could help calm the community's fears.
Hybarf Tics.2048
Anet is still hunting for a warclaw, as soon as they catch one we'll get our vid. No warclaw no vid... :'(
Zaraki.5784
Maybe they were scared that moderators wouldn't be able to contain the mole of offensive comments on twitch, which is already big enough and live isn't even started.
Moira Shalaar.5620
While it is understandable that this livestream might not happen as planned, it is an unfortunate oversight that nobody has been available to post something somewhere. XenesisII.1540
It's wvw related, not exactly surprising.
Mikali.9651
to be fair, the announcement didn't state the year.

Dami.5046
Trashed the mount the second it was announced and now complaining the stream didn't happen so you could complain some more. GG.

Arguably the ... erm ... scepticism after the announcement of the WvW mount would have been even more a reason to have this stream. To demonstrate it and to show that it is not the end of the world (vs world).
Bloodstealer.5978
I am sure we all have questions regarding the Warclaw . me included as I don't like the idea of it in WvW, but in light of current events would you want to sit on a livestream having to dodge the obvious nosey parker questions relating to lay offs and the future of the game, company, world.. especially when it might be you getting escorted out of the building at anytime.. no. Try to at least show some respect for the employees.. when the time is right I am sure ANET will want to take our questions on the actual subject mater rather then have it create the opportunity for a free for all on stuff that is nothing to do with us. Killerassel.2197
Don't get me wrong. While I was looking forward to the live stream, I understand that they are busy with, and worried about the recent news. It is perfectly fine that that is their priority right now. I sure wouldn't have wanted to sit in front of the camera if I was in their situation. And I've seen twitch chat. It was full of disrespectful, unfunny "jokes" and memes. Not exactly encouraging. I wouldn't have wanted to be moderator there either. I'm just unhappy that the cancellation of the live stream was not announced before but long after its scheduled start. But regarding questions, they could have started the stream with a short statement, even if mostly empty words, and then ignore the whole topic and only show the mount as planned. Actually I was hoping for that, too. But again: I'm not criticizing the cancellation, only the lack of communication.
derd.6413
Given that the stream was cancelled half an hour after it was supposed to start i'm more inclined to think it's due to technical issues

Mostly likely the "technical Issue" is that they outright didn't had the time to set everything up for stream.

CalamityO.2890
It's understandable. In fact, if the stream did proceed it would have been derailed, instead of the war kitty being shown, it would have been endless questions about the layoffs etc. Or ppl QQ over the war kitty.
