Vegeta.2563
1. Bridge Events 2. Soul Binders Bridge Events do not last very long, and are usually completed within 30 seconds, if not sooner. It does not give anyone time to quickly rush over there even on roller beetle. My suggestion would be to make the progress bar last way longer, at least during the defend phases. Playing on a reaper I was able to burn through half of the progress bar within 3 seconds. This is not good for anyone. Soul Binders right now are shared between players, and I really think they need to be treated as individual like gathering nodes. This is so anti-GW2 it's basically kill stealing and it's frustrating.
derd.6413
the issue with soulbinders is that the pillons are part of the kralk fight and if the number get's to high the event stalls so that's not gonna change
Blocki.4931
Just ignore doing te fighting for a while and do the pylons. I get 10 per meta because nobody does it lol Also bridge events by default last longer than one minute. Just go from bridge to bridge and deliver 1 item each time you should be able to do it easily. If you are building the bridge up yes, but when you need to defend.. you can pull like 5 mobs together and the progress bar is gone in seconds. The bridge defend events need to have at the very least a timer instead that way it gives people ample time to get there.
Clyan.1593
Bridge events are kinda annoying, I agree. I just farmed them with an lfg deticated to only to that. For soulbinders i was lucky enough to find a meta noone was playing at. So the event stalled and I had an easy time doing it lol
HawkXtream.1538
Since release, I have only done 3 bridge events. lol

Rasimir.6239
Why are people always in such a hurry to finish off achievements? I think most of the Dragonfall achievements are near perfect in that they get done automatically if you just play on the map. Pretty much every time I've been on the map so far, I stumbled upon a bridge event, sometimes two or three, so getting a total 25 of them done will be a non-issue as it will happen all by itself. Same with soul binders, I participate in events and take them down whenever I pass one during events and they pile up all by themselves. You only need 25 bridges/50 soul binders, and they'll be there for a long time. It doesn't make much of a difference if I finish them this week, this month, this year or even this century (provided the servers don't get turned off before ;) ). I might get a pretty skin a few days earlier or later, but that really has no impact on my ability to play and enjoy the game.
Ayakaru.6583
Bridge events can simply be fixed by a short timer: maybe 20-30 seconds is enough. - Branded are gathering to assault the bridge - Bridgebuilder is preparing his tools to repair the bridge 20-30 seconds to shout out on the map, and people can start running in that directions. As for the soulbinders; They have a use in battle, unlimited use by everyone will probably break the designed event format. But in retrospect, you only need 50, so if you can grab a few each time you do the meta, you'd be fine. You don't have to do it all in one go. And there are LOTS during the pre-event

And you have no idea who's responsible for the quick event completion? Reminds me of the leather farm I joined last week. I happily equipped Valkyrie gear and got my flamethrower ready, when there were people in the group with full berserker raid builds plus rotation, overkilling centaurs. They too probably wondered why they die so fast. I suggest playing naked at these events. > @"Vegeta.2563" said: > Soul Binders right now are shared between players, and I really think they need to be treated as individual like gathering nodes. This is so anti-GW2 it's basically kill stealing and it's frustrating. I fully agree that this is a problem for those who want to get the achievement. As it works now, players have to compete with each other for the pylons. Be it at the camp event or the meta afterwards. At one meta, I only got 3 pylons because the sky was darkened by swarms of griffon riding achievers. Changing them to individiual markers wouldn't work though because they have an effect on everybody.
Etria.3642
For the binders someone gave the right advice: just wait for a stalled meta and get them there.
Eloc Freidon.5692
I was definitely concerned about the soul binders and bridge events the first time I saw the achievements. After actually doing them, I realized that its not really that bad. Its a shame that the bridge event notification range is way too small in areas players won't be around aside from escorting through them.
