Can we have another Meta Event Rush after Halloween?

Meta Event Rush was my favourite of the new events. It brought a steady stream of players into older POF and HOT maps and people could get their achievements done because of it. The bonus rewards were also really, really good. I was making a decent amount of gold every day and it was refreshing. I was able to get all the purchasable Amnoon casino collectibles, and I almost have the Maw of Desolation Spike achievement done.

 

Maybe add a few more maps so players can have a smoother train without that big 40+ minute break, provide alternatives to the Orr events for people who just really want to be on the go-go-go.

 

I'd really love to see it again soon.

How about a break, so I can unravel my brain before Wintersday without having to FOMO about reward opportunities. The last round of boss rushes really suffered from this, since its piling on the exhaustion until they hit the breaking point. Even before the Rushes were added, I usually took a 3 week break after Halloween from being so farmed out on Mad Lab.

After that grindy halloween festival I'd prefer a break from grindy stuff. I'm already ignoring the repeateble achievements for doors and pumpkins. Maybe completing them on time (I'm about at half for both) for the first 5 AP and then doing it 1 time each year. I guess those rush events fit better in between more fun (and less grindy) festivals like the previous ones we had.

There’s usually enough players doing the meta events after reset. There’s really no need and the bonus reward chests we got were not all that rewarding unless you were among the lucky 0.0001% that got a super rare drop.

 

Those XYZ rushes were nothing but a distraction from the lack of new content. People eventually saw through it by the third iteration.

It was _definitely_ better than the World Boss Rush.

I was getting around 50-100g a day during MER. World Boss Rush I was lucky to get 25g. If they upped the rewards, I'd like it more.

I'm kind of hoping for a return of the beetle racing event in November. It didn't take a ton of time, and the bonus medallions for the dailies would be nice for buying more track pieces for the guild hall.

If you want to take a break, you always can.

All these events are optional and in no way will you be left out if you skip one.

 

(I mean, just saying. Just because anet uploads an event doesn't mean you **have** to participate)

If I recall correctly, this is the exact type of "content" players wanted to fill the gaps between releases, and now that it is an option, another subset (maybe the same players?) are bemoaning the waste of time they provide.

 

All on how you look at it, I suppose.
