When you buy things from Amazon, itll say whether it sourced through Amazon or their marketplace. Their marketplace is essentially like ebay where other people and companies sell new or secondhand items. But if you don't want to play hot you simply skip starting its story and don't use portal to their maps. You don't have to play the content if you don't want to. However it would continue your story in right order and give extra hero points for hot specs and masteries which can be used in pof and core game zones. But thats up to you. My concern is for a support account that generates basically log in, and daily rewards, and some festival stuff. I'd be fine with Pof because the mounts would outweigh the added increased daily possibilities. But, gliding is not worth adding the Hot dailys in my opinion.
