Legendary items do not get the same treatment as gemstore items. Look at how legendary armor does not have dyeable particle effects unlike gemstore armor. Same principle as celestrial infusion, it will forever have poor resolution compared to gemstore textures.

Rule of thumb for 2019-2020 anet, if it can not be directly monetized, it will be of poor quality.

WvW 2k chest armor has the tentacles at the back, theyre dyable.

Yes but only after 2 months or so they made them dyeable. And they never made the rest of the glowing parts of the armor sets dyeable. :/

I don't agree. When you buy/craft a legendary item, no matter what one, you chose a specific design. Sort of a piece of art. The idea is to take it as is, not to modify it. Personal opinion of course. :3
